    Truck vs SUV for towing

I believe my Coachmen 191RB weighs in at about 3250 pounds empty behind my F-150, roughly 6,000 pounds under it's capabilities. Has an island walk around queen bed, dry bath/shower, 3 burner, large double sink, microwave, fridge, dinette, HVAC, TV, 6'6" ceiling throughout, but no, I wouldn't...

    Truck vs SUV for towing

They say the difference between men and boys is the size of their toys. Real men tow big toys with with trucks, boys play with smaller toys and SUV's. Get a truck!

Total Composites Slide In Camper Kits

When a "regular" product is a special order, prices will, most likely be higher. If there is no published MSRP, does that allow a dealer to add whatever they think the market will "bear"?

Severe weather or other safety alerts to your InReach, Zoleo, etc.

Just signed up, hopefully they can tell me the places to avoid after November 7th, this year as we wander winter around the country.

    Opinion Please

Stay clear of it if you aren't a wrencher with those miles. Next, I would be very hesitant to buy any 20 year old vehicle with overlanding bling attached, to me that translates to hard driving, most likely some abuse the vehicle wasn't built for. The owner modified the vehicle for an unintended...

It looks shinny. Is it AWD? What year is that, an early 90's? Too small? I agree.

lol, no, it's cheaper and they don't increase the "need" it's that the blueitti charges faster with a max 700 watts in, you could use 400 watts, just takes longer. It's not just storage batteries, 10 gauge wire isn't cheap, then connectors, then fuse block, then switches, then a pure sine...

    Truck vs SUV for towing

Seems to me most families are two vehicle owners, we have both a Jeep Cherokee Trail Hawk and an F 150, problem solved, until you have to decide which one to take on your next outing.

Not trying to take this off topic, just a comment; A 2000 watt rig makes sense for most needs from any trailer, save yourself some money, time and headaches, use a solar generator, like a Bluetti 200P (2000+ watts) with 700 watts of panels.

Actually, no, still a "retail trailer", never said a word about DIY, but, now I'm wondering if you have some relationship with this company? I'm saying, I think, this unit is not worth what you actually get for your money, perhaps the disagreement is really about the value of a dollar. I've...

This pretty much, breaks down to an opinion of value. According to statistical income/asset ranges, I'm in the top or upper 10%, retired and comfortable, not wealthy but far from broke. When I have purchased any "major" item, I have never made my purchasing decision based on how well a...

I think $45K is nuts for one of these, yes, I bought several houses for that kind of money but they probably build them for less than $12K. There are several travel trailers with aluminum cages and frames, that you can pick up for 10K or less, then modify them for your needs.

While Branson has tons of musical shows the big attraction is Silver Dollar City, get a season pass or 3 day pass, it takes 3 days to see it all and teens like it too.

Sorry to hear you have the same issues of overheating with the V6. There is a lot of praise about that Ecoboost in the F-150, but since I never had a V6, I've been in the dark. Now, I bid you farewell, unless someone invites further discussion from me in this thread.
