The ML Class 163 still has a transfer case with Hi & Low gears. It is truly an all-time 4-wheel drive vehicle - in Low and Hi. Not like most of the "newer" some-time 4x4 vehicles.... It is by far not a Gwagen, but with 16" wheels and some decent tires, we drove on tough Baja 1000 tracks last year.
