    M1010 Ambulance to Expedition Rig

Why did you go with a NP241 over a NP208C? Just curious.

Would have been a lot cheaper to put a locker in the first truck... ? but who am I to judge?

Ok then. I now know that you know and you know that I know what we mean.

    My 02 Avalanche NFE

I meant the boot, but that’s an uneducated guess. Thoughts?

Great White: A Chevy K10 Build

Unless you plan on dragging it through Metal Masher or Steel Bender in Moab, I think you’ll be fine.

    ejs262's Suburban(s?)!

I’m jealous that your radio mount was semi intact. Mine is all cut out. It’s low on the priority list, but I’ll eventually fix it. Thinking of using anti-seize... ;)

Great White: A Chevy K10 Build

Ok. Now that you have a little time on this drivetrain... thoughts? You have a pretty rare setup, so I’m not sure what you could compare it to, but is the chassis able to deal with the power delivery of that engine?

    ejs262's Suburban(s?)!

With a 6” lift, my parking brake cables are useless. I am sure there are longer ones that would work, but I haven’t looked.

    ejs262's Suburban(s?)!

Biggest thing you’ll noticed is a greatly improved steering radius. Makes navigating parking lots so much easier.

    ejs262's Suburban(s?)!

Looks good. Don’t forget to paint those new hubs or they will be a rusty mess in no time. I’m interested to see how the ORD crossover steering works out for you. I have some bumpsteer that I am dealing with after my install, but I am at 6” of lift. I ordered a 1” spacer for the steering arm...

    M1010 Ambulance to Expedition Rig

I have been contemplating this piece as well. I have been holding off on any engine related work because I am not sure that I will stay with the 6.2, but it seems like relatively cheap insurance to reduce the chances of crank failure.

Chevy Suburban pop top adventure build

If you move it anywhere, go to the Full-size Domestics subforum. There are a couple Suburban pop top threads there, as well as, a lot of Suburban in general.
