In the grand spectrum of things? Nothing. There are so many F150’s out there that everyone should be able to get what they want. This one had the options that the OP was talking about, so I thought it was on topic.

I went through this whole process recently. Ended up finding a 2014 5.0 F150 with only 32,500 miles. Pretty awesome (despite being somewhat ubiquitous) build sheet too. They are out there. Just need to be patient.

Based on the few videos and pictures on the internet, you can see that there are two skeletonized boxed brackets per side that bolt the rails to the frame.

How much do you think the E rates tires contributed to the ride quality? Been agonizing over tire selection for my F-150.

1 ton pad spacing is 40.5” and 1/2 ton spacing is 42.5”. Centered between the backing plates.

A couple things come to mind regarding your clunk. Because you say that you can feel it in the wheel, I am suspicious of something in that component train. First thought is the intermediate steering shaft. A lot of trucks have an issue where the slip joint loses tolerance over the years and...

Adjusting the draglink to re-center the wheel should be pretty simple. No need to wait for an alignment.
