Thank you! Ride is MUCH much better from my stock Z71 shocks.. they were pretty beat and had a lot of bounce to it. The Fox shocks definitely land much nicer in dips and bumps. I have some worn out steering and sway bar bushings that I need to address next to stiffen up the road wandering - but...

Brought my rig's attitude and capabilities up a bit with some fresh parts.. Fox 2.0 Shocks, Rough Country leveling lift, Method Wheels - Grid Titanium, and some fresh 285/70/17 BFG AT KO2's. :D

Mostly stock at the moment.. but hoping to be stepping up the suspension/wheels/tire combo here in the coming month or two. ?

Just a follow up on what I said.. Just got the 50-Series muffler put on my 5.3L about an hour ago and driving home... I am in LOVE. It's the perfect low tone I enjoy when on the gas, but with the windows up, I barely hear it idling. Startup is mellow (so I'm not waking all the neighbors) but it...

I have a said "droning" exhaust system (that's also rusty and rattles) on my truck I just bought couple weeks ago. Once my November budget gets in effect.. I will be changing that out for a nice Flowmaster Super 50 to get the sound down and a bit milder. I'll let you know how it comes out and if...

Just picked it up on Wednesday - 2006 Chevy Silverado 1500 Z-71. Crew Cab, 5.3L, automatic, pretty much stock mechanically.. I'll be slowly building this one up for PLENTY of trips to the beach, surfing, camping, snowboarding, the desert, etc etc. :D Super stoked. I've been waiting a long time...

Yep, sounds like a perfect combo. This is just my commuter rig - so I didn't want to drop that much $$ into the Icons/Kings I was originally looking at. But yeah, sounds like the right kind of setup for you. Make it happen. :D I think you'll enjoy it.
