The M1070 HET has the same 53" tall 16.00R20 tires as the MTVR, but the M1070's GVWR is only 86,000 pounds, not 175,000 pounds. And the M1070 has a top speed of only 45 mph as compared to the MTVR's 65 mph top speed, making the M1070 useless to us as an RV...which is why we don't own one...

I suspect that you'll end up dangerously overloaded. What are the particulars of your pickup? 2WD, 4WD, engine, trans, cab, trim level, final drive ratio. And/or post an image of your door sticker...

I've known them as woobies for at least 30 years. From Wikipedia: "Poncho liners were first used by the U.S. military in the Vietnam War. They gained the nickname 'woobie' later; that term is conjectured to have derived from the name for a child's security blanket in the 1983 movie Mr. Mom.[2]"
