    Military rim identification?

The M1070 HET has the same 53" tall 16.00R20 tires as the MTVR, but the M1070's GVWR is only 86,000 pounds, not 175,000 pounds. And the M1070 has a top speed of only 45 mph as compared to the MTVR's 65 mph top speed, making the M1070 useless to us as an RV...which is why we don't own one...

"E-bike" mopeds more dangerous than motorcycles?

Most people operate their "e-bike" mopeds as fast as they can go, with zero safety gear, and seem to think that traffic laws don't apply to them. The results are predictable...

    Alaskan 8.5' on a 6.5' bed, F150 ?

I suspect that you'll end up dangerously overloaded. What are the particulars of your pickup? 2WD, 4WD, engine, trans, cab, trim level, final drive ratio. And/or post an image of your door sticker...

Where are all my MilSurp equipment fans at?

Good question. My younger brothers were both Army Airborne- that's where I picked up the term. Mat Best was in the Army also.

Where are all my MilSurp equipment fans at?

I've known them as woobies for at least 30 years. From Wikipedia: "Poncho liners were first used by the U.S. military in the Vietnam War. They gained the nickname 'woobie' later; that term is conjectured to have derived from the name for a child's security blanket in the 1983 movie Mr. Mom.[2]"

Anyone modified their truck camper to fit Dirt Bikes?

We designed our box to have a rear garage to hold two motorcycles and two bicycles, with a loft bed over it, and a powered "drawbridge" that serves as a back deck when horizontal, and serves as the first 8 feet of a motorcycle ramp when depressed below horizontal...

The all-new Hayabusa to be revealed February 5th!

The Hayabusa is a wonderful motorcycle, but it is now 22 years old, and is getting pretty long in the tooth. I am hoping that we finally get what so many of us have been patiently waiting for...

    Canadians... What's it really like?

A lot of the subjects of foreign countries don't understand the freedoms that we as American citizens possess. Driving is a PRIVILEGE, granted at the whim of the government. Firearms possession, however, is a RIGHT. And although the U.S. Constitution recognizes and supposedly protects that...

    Canadians... What's it really like?

No. I knocked down an easy six figures as a cop. My daily commuter was a Porsche convertible that I custom-ordered new. My wife's car is a BMW Track Pack that I let her custom order new. We flew to Munich Germany to pick it up at the factory- we typically vacation in Europe a month a year...
