Are you going to put the electrical back in the tongue box?
I’ve eyeing the drivers side kitchen box and wondering whether I should put all of my electrical in there. Or the generator I box. Both cabinets are currently underutilized.
While we were at it, we reinforced the frame with a left over piece of 3”x4” tube. I wasn’t sure if we had one of the trailers that would need reinforcements, so added the tube for piece of mind.
Here are a few photos of how the bumper is attached to the trailer. It’s bolted on, not welded. We welded new brackets onto the bumper and bolted it on using the shackle hangers, the hitch, and some new brackets we welded on to the frame of the trailer.
My wife and I had a similar discussion. Ultimately we decided that, at this point in life, time is more precious that money and we would rather spend our time camping with our boys.
By the way, if anyone is interested in mounting the Dee Zee tool boxes, I have a pair I’m not going to use. I was going to bolt them above the fenders, but don’t need them. If anyone is looking for a deal, let me know
