I’ve got an identical GHM but wearing a different can. I was ringing 8” steel at 315 yds over 50% of the time with it with Critical Duty 135s. Been very pleased with it.
That’s the most dangerous thought of all time. Next thing you know it’s a Saturday late at night, and you’re a few too many bourbons deep browsing the Currie website. Next thing you know you’ve got a $12K order for a couple Dana 60s. A few months later you’re finally getting out of the doghouse...
The heater itself works great, and quickly got the camper toasty inside. My only complaint with the setup had to do with my positioning of the heater. The exhaust pipe was directly underneath the condensation vent on the tent, and this allowed fumes to slowly work their way inside. Before the...
How are you liking that SOB HC bumper? I’m considering dropping my truck off with Travis for a few weeks to fab up a HC swing out for my F250, but I’d like to hear some feedback on them!
They’ll be mounted directly to the roof. I went with the AllPowers 200W flexible panel. I’m going to order a second now that I know I have enough room to fit 2.
I just got around to measuring the panel and roof today. Will try to get it mounted up this weekend. I’ve got a 200W panel that is 54” long and 30.5” wide. The roof with fan at the back leaves well more than enough room for 2 x 200W panels. I could almost fit a 3rd panel.
Yep. I figured it was available on the smaller F150s. I knew it was on option on the crew cabs. I was just too lazy to do the research, but I’ve done plenty on available options for the Super Duty so I knew it off the top of my head.
I was originally intending to snag the 58 gal Transfer Flow...
Not to burst your bubble, but a reg cab F250/350 have a TINY fuel tank. The SCLB has about 5-6 additional gallons, but it’s still pretty small, The CCSB has a 34 gallon tank, and a CCLB has a 48 gal tank. For tank perspective alone I’d probably look at a SCSB or SCLB. Heck even a CCSB with rear...
The payload in a HDPP F-150 is not going to be remotely close to a similarly optioned F250. Can you make a stripped down 150 reg cab HDPP similar to a crew cab well optioned 250? Absolutely. I’ve got a loaded out 22’ Lariat Tremor 250 with over 2800 lbs payload (2820ish to be exact). That’s a...
