LOL I would "knot" be camping with your group. Even though I don't typically use the Coleman lantern while camping I have no desire to camp with people that want to tell me what and what "knot" to use while camping. Sound like you and your "senior" members are wrapped to tight.

Were you guys aware this unit does not have "zones"? You either freeze or cold only not both at the same time. Here is the review I found on their website. Accurately holds the temperature I set. I tested with a thermometer and set a variety of temperatures... this portable refrigerator did...

I debated on that but kinda like it rough so it holds food along the sides away from the middle. If it is slick you might have a problem keeping food up along the edge away from the direct heat area. As long as it is not causing your food to stick (and mine does not) then you should be all good.

Good idea!! I still think it is ridiculous for what you pay for the mount that anything has to be done to it.
