On the 4th gens you can’t use the lockers unless you are in low range. The bypass gives you a 2wd lock as well as the ability to use the lockers in four high. The nanny kill disabled all of the abs and traction controls so you’re getting full power to the wheels. Burnouts for days!

Loved this route when we were there in 2017, but the trip up to tincup from mirror lake was a spine-jarring, kidney bleeding, Rocky trek. Got passed by a couple bikes that looked at me like I was insane. Very cool trip.
