    RSI SmartCap order status

I just have zero faith in any foreign made product quality. Especially, one from Africa. My experience with James Baroud may have left a sour taste, but being a foreign brand leaves you with little options if you get screwed. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    RSI SmartCap order status

Dude, CarID and most of those other sites that google populates are just drop shippers. They don’t actually have any “stock” or even a warehouse. It’s best to deal with reputable retailers that actually have brick and mortar locations. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Freespirit Recreation (FSR) – 55” Evolution Issues

The rust really isn’t an “issue”. Iron contamination could have come from anywhere. Including the roads you drive on. Go get some of that sulfur based cleaner described above and put it on your car truck paint. You’ll be shocked. Any detail shop will have some. I get it though. Kind of adds...

    2022 Chevy Silverado ZR2

A tremor is a 250 meant to compete with the power wagon. Not really a fair comparison. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Ram Powerwagon with PCOR setup

Something similar to the fifty10 camper would be really cool if made by PCOR, but for 4 it would need to fold out to the side. PCORs are really cool though. And look so good, even with 40s. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Ram Powerwagon with PCOR setup

I wish Patriot/PCOR would come out with a canopy/box that has an integrated tent for a family of 4. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Freespirit Recreation (FSR) – 55” Evolution Issues

I honestly don’t see the problem. Do you have photos of how the tent “should” close, in your opinion. Not trying to start anything, just curious really. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Looking for opinions on AEV Prospector XL

AEV has the lockers as an option on the Prospector builds. At least with the 4th gen it was. You can add a Power Wagon e-locker to any Ram pretty easily. Aftermarket obviously. If I recall, the new gen does not have regear options as of yet though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Freespirit Recreation (FSR) – 55” Evolution Issues

The rust on the corner pieces is not an issue IMO. It appears some iron based material was probably used to “clean” them at some point and left remnants behind. ie a grinding wheel. An iron removal spray found at detail shops would probably take care of the issue for around $5-$10. I use it on...

Looking for opinions on AEV Prospector XL

I’m in a “prospector” on 37s. The plan is to go to 40s with in a year or 2. These trucks do amazing things with a mild lift and 37s. Especially if you spend the time to research a quality lift. The AEV lift works for me for now, but I’m going to swap all the springs and shocks out for better...

Looking for opinions on AEV Prospector XL

If you don’t live in an area that requires inspections, you may want to consider a delete. Deleted, the right way with a good tune, and a few accessories like intake, tubes, grid delete, air box, with a re-gear and 40s … 20mpg on a 6.7 diesel is not out of the question. At that point a...

Looking for opinions on AEV Prospector XL

The AEV suspension doesn’t effect payload since they use the factory springs. You can get 40” ATs now from both Maxxis and Gladiator but the Maxxis only comes in an r20. The AT makes running 40s more palatable since you’ll get 40k out of them instead of 25k on MTs. Sent from my iPhone...

Mounting Options for Front Aux Lights

Those are 6” lights right? That’s going to be hard to fit in the Chevy bumper. That Randy Ellis bar above is probably your best bet, but it has the same look as a bull bar. Just smaller. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

iKamper Skycamp initial thoughts and observations

Version 3 seems to address just about every negative I had from the original. Better windows, new logo, better shell, air mattress (like an exped). What I don’t know is if they have addressed how the annex and awning attach. Version 3 actually looks like where this tent should have been...

    Garaging a 102 " trailer in a 95 " Garage

I wouldn’t do plywood. I’d make an A frame with caster wheels. That way it can move in any direction, will be cheap and as low as possible. The question is, do you have at least 8” from the ground to the drum brake? If not, you’ll never get it low enough, unless you also remove the brakes...
