Went to Columbia yesterday so swung by the Pullapart JY. If anyone is looking for swivel seat bases they have at least 5-7 in various vans. Most were the older style but will work fine. Especially for $5-10 ea.
You can look up on their web page what vehicles they have. These both had swivels...
Are the storage boxes accessible? Or are they for hiding wiring, etc?
I like the airline track idea, anywhere to get it affordably? I saw someone else had some single mounts that you could put the mount into, but only place I could find them with a quick search was eBay and they were ~$12 each.
I probably could have made out for $5 ea for the swivels but I thought I might need the sliders as well. Now to fine a Sienna with recliners in a pull a part. :smiley_drive:
Finally uploading some pictures off of my new camera.
Storage shed/parts piling up to get installed. (Carpet kit &...
Rear doors swapped:
Had a slight issue with my upper door strike/latch, it was bent from beign a cargo van, had to pull 3rd brake light remove bracket and bend back down with ratchet strap and a hammer.
I have all solid doors for sale, not perfect on inside but outside in decent...
FYI: You do know they are abotu to release an new version of the BFG KO. So you could benefit waiting on closeouts of the old/current style or get a newer upgraded version.
Took a "shortcut" once with my wife and kids in our lifted and loaded down FZJ80 that ended up taking me down the dragon. The Lotus behind me was not happy but I survived. ;)
Chris,
Were you streaming another live build today?
I would like to see a closeup of the angle on the window. How much you had to fill with clear silicone. On Ford vans it would need to be a very small window (maybe 12" or shorter?) to not have a large gap. Wish it could work out but I don't want to have to make a shelf/ gap at the top.
This one has been for sale for over a year. I called them several times as they originally did not have a price listed.
Are you using searchtempest to search or what? Might want to avoid the NE if you want rust free.
How was the fit with the RV window? I wanted several I found on eBay when I bought my van then did some research and found out they can have a gap because they do not have a curve built into them like van windows. I wanted the frameless all glass look but am not willing to pay $300+ for one...
I have heard from a very reliable source that there will be a new BFG AT this year. I have not personally seen the new tread so I cannot confirm those pictured in this thread will be the new pattern. I am going to patiently wait as well.
These should all fit into that. Where are you located? The last one is a little high but would have you on the road imediately. That has been the main complaint from my wife.
Thats a good deal depending on the rust. Many run from higher milage rigs, but honestly they might be better maintained than the low milage units that sit.
