Nope. You have to purchase separately from a Hannibal dealer. SoCal will put the mounts on the roof rack to accommodate the Hannibal. For me, it was simple to bolt the awning onto the mount provided by SoCal. Took me less than an hour to mount. Here are some pics: "] "] "]

Nope, no floor. For simplicity, ease of setup and tear down, and storage, we use an extra Eezi-Awn ground sheet. Don't know if you have seen these, but they are amazing at keeping dirt, mud, and sand out of the trailer. If you haven't spent much time in a teardrop, storage space is at a...

Yep. The awning arms swing and cantilever out from the mount. It is very stout. You could add tie downs/ guy lines if you wanted. Never have needed them. We typically put the walls on 95% of the time. The side walls have holes for ground stakes. It's stood up very well in some pretty...

How do you handle the trailer door opening on the 4 wall version? I wouldn't discount the 3 wall version. The walls are staked down and set pretty tight to the trailer. It provides quite a bit of privacy. (We carry a separate Outback Porta Privy that we use for shower and bathroom duties)...

I went with the Hannibal Awning and the 3 side panels. We've been very satisfied. Best thing is no guy lines. If you go this route, be aware, the lead time is loonngg.

We have the under mattress storage. One thing to note- it's not that convenient to access. Even with the mattress split, it messes up the bed every time you want to get in there. We've relegated that area for things we might need, but don't need to get to very often. (i.e. extra blankets...

Tank level gauge, or just a simple sight tube, would be nice. After a while you'll get comfortable with your water usage. It's amazing how consistent it is. Contrary to coastsider's experience, my wife and I typically stay out for 10-12 days with the 35 gallons of water we carry...

Draining the pump when out in below freezing temps is a bit of a pain. I usually drain the pump by disconnecting the line from the suction side of the pump (requires removing fridge) and running the pump until no water comes out of the hose. Do you drain the same way- except you use the...

I enjoyed the article as well. It's interesting that you made the switch to AT's suspension. Knowing what you now know about the SoCal vs AT suspension, if you were to make your purchase again, would you still go with the SoCal trailer or go with the AT product? (Coming from a Chaser, when we...

Are they compatible? As I understand, the Partner Steel Stoves use a high pressure regulator.

Did you see this? Exped Portal- For Sale: 2012-Toyota-Tacoma-Factory-5-Spoke-Rims Ad doesn't state the wheel size, but I thought you might be interested.

Agree. Another gun is worthless if you can't put rounds, quickly, on target with the ones you got.....unless you're a museum. ;)

Wheel Adapter I'm running factory Toyota Off-Road wheels- 16 x 7.00 - with 235/85R16 Cooper STMAXX tires mounted on the wheels. I have about 3" clearance between the inside of the tire and trailer. The outside of the tire sits flush with the outside edge of the 12" fender. I love the setup!

Trailer- Bearings One other thing I might mention is in regards to the trailer wheel bearings. I had a couple of bearing failures on my Chaser running the 37" tires and a 3" wheel adapter. Mario, from Adventure Trailers, and I had several conversations trying to determine the cause of the...

Wheel Adapter IMHO, The adapter would be an easier/quicker change out. Adapter is probably cheaper as well. Running with: Wheel: Factory TRD Off-Road 16x7.00 Wheel Offset = +32 mm - Back Space = 5.25" Inches Tire: 255/85R16 Adapter: No spacer It appears to me that the inboard side of the...

Wheel Adapter I believe the overall width of the adapter is 2.5". I'll double check when I'm back home on Sunday. I too, am not sure what the backspace is on the Tacoma wheel. I know that I did measure it when ordering the adapter. Do you have the Tacoma wheels to measure from? What size...
