Lighten with a straight axle/trailer axle (if it doesn't already have one) how is the tongue made ?? Can it be be revamped to lighten things ?
Any unnecessary brackets or hangers that can be removed can help...
A fiberglass shell would lighten things up... I'm sure some research could reveal...
Soooo what model of JEEP are you towing it with... that's a fairly BIG trailer...
I was thinking you were going with a mini/mid size bed... the good is you all can fit... I think there are advantages to both... I imagine it's a little cumbersome... does it still have the rearend in it ??
I plan...
There is a company that makes a air mattress for beds of trucks (truck bedz?) that might work nice... removable... some comfort... need an air source ??
I'm think'n at least one batt. also... I'm not having much luck locating two more wheels so I'll need to get 7 at some time in the future...
Mine is an 89 longbed... which is approx. 7' the short bed 6' bed is a little short for my fat/tall ********... all Comanches look the same... I'll be losing the shell and starting with just the truck bed.
This build thread has a couple ideas that I'll hopefully be working towards...
He did a nice...
Little off course here, but I spend most of Aug. each year over the hill from Heber... up above Kamas... see the picts. with familiar hills and the one in your trailer build... I'm getting antsy to get out of here... toooo damn hot.
Hope the arm is better...

OH... that just isn't going to cut it... scrap the WHOLE thing and start over...
How could you even call that boat haul'n, compact trail trailer that you can stand up in, outboard tote'n, hard top jumble O canvas... a finished trailer ??
Is that a generator ?? !!! What nerve you have to go out...
This is what I'm doing on my MJ trailer build... should it need to go the other direction it can be removed from the front and ran to the back.
FRONT
REAR Receiver
REAR left long... the length will be determined later...

IT'S ABOUT TIME !!!!
Any close ups of the lift supports ?? I know you had some on the floor any ones on the trailer just closer... PLEASE !
Maybe some of the underside... pullies and such.
Curt
Congrats. on the first outting...
Could you basicly leave the tent spread out on the lid just flat, maybe keep the poles together but partially broken down a bit and have a canvas or ?? flap to keep it basically inplace just colapsed so when it folds up it's hanging in a "pouch"...
Open the...
I've always liked the set up, but you're kill'n me with it at that height... bump it 3" please... a good quality lift...
