I used the traditional "bar clamps" until I determined where I wanted the balls. The bar clamps are much more cumbersome/cluttered - but they come in a variety of styles .
(they are also much more versatile because you can move them at any time).
I went with the clean drilled balls so that...
Yeah :D
Have been using them for years with all the motorbikes. Makes it so easy to bring/remove for whatever setup you need on a given day. :sombrero:
Because I can easily remove my dip and in an afternoon restore the van to its easily resellable (and more valuable original) "cargo van white color".
Cheers

Assuming you already own a spray system, 400 rolls of masking tape, 30,000 feet of plastic, etc... :sombrero:
The camo dip is $70/gallon.
I think black dip is cheaper - like $60.
Pearlizers are more expensive.
It will take between 6 and 9 gallons depending on how much you put on...
Gloomy skies do not make for the best photography but I had to snap a couple of photos of the finished product here in my neighborhood this evening before it got dark
Under the trim is where Sprinters often begin to rust as they hold water.
Many UK owners pop the trim pieces and rhino line / seal underneath.

Cheers, Ed
Ps from a time point of view, it takes 30 seconds to pop...

It is important to buy the "spray" and not just a gallon of dip.
You can dilute your own but it ends up working completely differently - they have a video showing the difference.
difficulty: not bad - but I did work in an aircraft paintshop 30 years ago...
The Camo Green by default is flat. I like the flat finish and did not add any glossifier or anything but you can find photos out there of what the camo looks glossified.
This is the sprayer I used: http://bit.ly/1tywPkv
It is built specifically for plastidip and it is super easy to...
It is camo green.
I've only done the front 3rd of the van so far. Fingers crossed it warms up enough I can spray some more before full winter arrives (I live at 8000 feet)
:friday:
p.s painting a sprinter is like painting a house :Wow1::D
Externally we use a Thule swing away rack
Internally the bikes mount onto the 8020 interior framework (which happens to be all apart in this photo)
...or if we have the dirtbikes along we'll put the mountain bikes on the 3rd rail between the dirtbikes
