    The Wanderers build

Looks good! I always thought C3s could and should be made more powerful. They have a real nice shape they just need more powerful engines. The first Corvette I ever drove was a late model C3 with crossfire. Sent from my Nexus 10 using Tapatalk

2000 Suburban K1500 budget low lift with 37"s

You could also reinforce the control arm by welding in a reinforcement strip between the two sides on the underside.

    1986 GMC S-15

Awesome work on the truck and even greater experiences! On your Sierra, what size tires did you have and did you do any modifications to the suspension?

    2017 Chevy Colorado ZR2

Just to corroborate, the ZR2 can run the Rubicon fairly unscathed. Just some minor Rock rash to the stock sliders, and if I remember correctly most were on the stock Duratracs. Sent from my Nexus 10 using Tapatalk

    Classic SUVs?

I have to agree with everyone else, and that's coming from someone who has four 30 year old vehicles and has a 3 year old. If you need something to move kids around, do some camping, and off-road occasionally a more modern SUV is hard to beat. Older vehicles are great as 3rd or 4th vehicles...

    Blueberry Supreme - '86 K20 Suburban

Thank you. They've always been a vehicle I've wanted and especially now that I have a family.

    "Skinny" tires on a Full-Size?

I have the WildPeak MT in 285/75R16 on my 86 Suburban with the stock 16x6 wheels. Only rubbing currently on the running boar inner corners on the front.

    2016 Ford Flex Build

Awesome! Go for it, buck the naysayers and try it! Do you think you could fit a slightly taller tire without too many negative effects?

    Blueberry Supreme - '86 K20 Suburban

Yeah very weird size, not easy to find. I ended up ordering plugs from Fastenal. Cheaper than the plugs via RockAuto and the parts stores don't carry this size in the quantity I need. Hopefully they arrive next week. I ordered Cabelas Trail Gear seat covers for the front seats. Really...

    Blueberry Supreme - '86 K20 Suburban

Spark plugs are replaced! Also removed one side of air tubes. I borrowed some plugs to try from work and found that the M22x1.5 plug worked. This is GM PN 12384935 which is a transfer case drain plug. It is a tapered plug but I'll see if it will work without leaking. I'll see if I can find...

2000 Suburban K1500 budget low lift with 37"s

This is a hilarious thread but a good read on what you can do affordably if you have some sense and a get it done attitude.

Thanks! I must have forgot about that thread because I couldn't find anymore to validate it. I'll see what we have at work.

Aside from using a bit more fuel, not really.

    Blueberry Supreme - '86 K20 Suburban

Things are moving slowly as it's really damn hot in AZ right now. Slow and steady wins the race! Did some more maintenance things like change the diff fluid. Front and Rear were both in stellar shape, old fluid but no metal pieces in either. A friend came over to help me tune the carb and...

    Blueberry Supreme - '86 K20 Suburban

Thanks! I doubt it though. I was a bit worried the tires would be too wide but it's perfect. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk

    Blueberry Supreme - '86 K20 Suburban

Thanks! Babe was in the running but my 3 year old liked Blueberry Supreme the most. USB ports will be aplenty. And yes rear air conditioning, which is a win for our hot summers.

    Blueberry Supreme - '86 K20 Suburban

This is one of my other projects that will likely get towed by the Blueberry Supreme. 1957 Willys CJ5. 225 V6/T18/Dana 20 with Dana 44s front and rear (4.10 gears & lockers). YJ leaf springs only 2.5" lift and 35" tires.
