Just started the main body of a rear diff skid plate for my rig. Waiting for some saddle clamps in the mail to finish the mounts, then ill paint and install. Should have the clamps this weekend so will be done by early next week.

Luckily for you in Canada you can buy a brand new unreliable diesel and delete all those terrible sensors,egr,scr,etc and replace with a straight pipe and tune that will make them pretty reliable. In USA your screwed or you have to figure out how to get a delete tune shipped to the states...

If you don't have a fid, a permanent marker and electrical tape does just fine on 1/2" and up line. Bury the tail as deep as you can and feather the end that is inserted it helps grab better inside the line when tightened.
