Anyone know of a replacement cap for a Front Runner water tank that is vented? I want to hook up a pump to the Front Runner tank and have concern that without a vent it will cause issues. I can crack the cap open when pumping, but the tank is in a tough spot to get to and don't want to bother...
Following. I am also interested in this. I have looked with no success for some system where you could use the sensors you describe then a receiver that would bluetooth it over to a phone or tablet. I have a feeling the schrader cap versions use a different frequency.
I am no expert either, but at some point when the charge is at 100% you need to tell the shunt that it is now at 100%. I suspect it is best to tell it 100% when there is no draw on the battery. Then it will monitor how much leaves the battery and how much comes in to give you an accurate...
Up for sale is a front leveling kit for a 7.3 Diesel F250 or F350. It will raise the front of your truck 3 inches. I had this on my F350 and my truck was perfectly level with it.
$80 shipped.
Is the overlander layer really an entirely different basemap? That is what I am trying to figure out.
As I mentioned above (maybe not so clearly), I had Gaia Topo (feet) downloaded for part of the western US (CA, AZ, NV, OR). I then downloaded the overlander layer for that approximate same...
Get a ratchet strap. Hook it to car and then to straps of tent top v. Ratchet it closed.
Bad design if users can't close it by themselves.

I understand that.
My point earlier was to say downloading the overland layer may not be adding much info to Gaia topo (feet). Gaia doesn't download the same data twice, so in my case since i already have Gaia topo (feet), there wasn't much data to add.

Has anyone come up with a DIY shower enclosure where they use their 270 awning as the roof and support system to hang a tarp or some other material? If so, please share.
I know there are dedicated shower enclosures, so please don't turn this thread into discussing those.
@Laps
Is there any good reason to do what you suggest? I surmise Gaia is smart enough to only download the data I'm missing to make the overlander layer complete. If that's the case, i assume if i select the overlander layer i will be able to see everything associated with that layer.

@DirtWhiskey
I just downloaded a good portion of the Western US in the Gaia Overland layer. I already had Gaia Topo (feet) downloaded for this area as well as a few other layers. Anyhow, Gaia shows that the area I selected was 48905 tiles. Gaia downloaded 406 tiles and said it was complete...
Truck had a leveling kit on it. I think it was 2.5 or 3 inches.
That level kit, the brackets and all bolts, is also available. Truck sat perfectly level with it.
