Passing along some good deals. I have zero connection to either item.

Other issues with having fla and lifepo4 connected together are that the lifepo4 voltage once all charged is higher than the fla. So i believe they will fight each other until they balance out, which won't be good.
Also can't start from the lifepo4. Way too many amps being sucked out too...
I have a victron dc to dc and i don't believe that it will function like that.
Which redarc or renogy models offer that feature?

Cool idea. If I am understanding correctly you are using one B2B and reversing it? If that is correct, I believe the B2B is programmed with a particular charge profile. If I set up the lifepo4 profile, won't that be an issue when it is reversed and charging the FLA start battery?
So, when you start your vehicle you disconnect this item from the start battery?
Does it prevent any current from going back from the start battery to the house battery?
Assume you set it at 12.6v, does it stop sending voltage to the start battery when it reaches 12.6v?
@jonyjoe101 I originally read the AMT12 specs about 11.5 and 11.7 as you did. it made no sense. After re reading it a few times, I think the 11.5 and 11.7 are the low voltage levels where the system shuts off. It actually charges the start battery to 12.8v
@DiploStrat I edited my original post to add a reference to this item. Any thoughts?
I am not sure what a PWM controller is? Recommendations for a cheap secondary controller? There are some very cheap ones on Amazon such as THIS ONE. I didn't realize they are available so cheap. But...
I was thinking of using a Blue Sea ACR (I already have one). I could set it up with an Anderson type plug and just plug it in when needed. What might be the drawback of doing this?
I will look at the Amp-L-start. Looks like the man that made these passed away in January 2023 and it is...
Any thoughts or suggestions on utilizing the house battery system to trickle charge the starting batteries if the truck sits for an extended period? Hopefully there is a reasonably priced solution.
I found this item, AMT I am not sure if it will work with the Victron DC to DC.
Current set...
So most of the advice above is for 10awg and 12awg. You are recommending 6awg. That is a big difference. When I see such a difference in advice, I have to assume someone is right and someone is wrong.
Bigger wire = less voltage drop. But in reality is 6awg needed for this? How much better...
