    2015 Ram 2500 Carli/Thuren Build W/Four Wheel Camper

Steering showed up yesterday! Really happy with Synergy’s quality. Looks really tough! I saw a video of them winching off of it and i believe it now.

    2015 Ram 2500 Carli/Thuren Build W/Four Wheel Camper

This came in the mail yesterday. The ups guy hates me now.... Also bit the bullet and ordered Synergy’s full steering kit minus the stabilizer. I’m planning on keeping the existing Thuren tuned King

    Tire time

My 1350 MT’s have been lasting a lot longer than i expected. Nowhere near as good as the discontinued General Grabbers i had before. For others who haven’t seen my thread, I have the 37x1350R17 Toyo MT The MT’s ride really well, Traction has been phenomenal in sand, snow, mud, clay, silt...

    2015 Ram 2500 Carli/Thuren Build W/Four Wheel Camper

Enough for a little squeak of the rubber knobs kissing the radius arm. It’s very minor.

    2015 Ram 2500 Carli/Thuren Build W/Four Wheel Camper

I really like them! They ride really well and have been wearing slowly. I have a bit more tire whine than the original style grabbers that were on before. In regards to how they fit, they definitely have some issues at full bump. If you’re using the AEV or synergy radius arm mounts you would be...

    2015 Ram 2500 Carli/Thuren Build W/Four Wheel Camper

Currently have Carli’s King 2.5’s front and rear. Looking at Thuren 3.0’s for the front, adding some more valving in the rear, and a Thuren front bumper. I’ve also heard rumors that there will be an air bump kit coming out soon for the radius arm trucks. Looking at buying another house soon...

    2015 Ram 2500 Carli/Thuren Build W/Four Wheel Camper

Went to the desert last weekend with a group of friends. One of my buddies family owns a house on a private competition ski lake so we stayed there instead of camping. The mornings were filled with offroading and once It started to get hot we would head back and jump on the boat. We found some...

2002 Pathfinder...the long road to recovery (build)

This thread is awesome! The front is looking great! I love seeing R50's being modded. This gives me more motivation for mine

    2015 Ram 2500 Carli/Thuren Build W/Four Wheel Camper

I totally forgot about shaving the ring gear. I did it in a 14 bolt on an old crawler and it was no big deal. Then again, I have done a lot of things to crawlers over the years I would never do to this truck haha

    2015 Ram 2500 Carli/Thuren Build W/Four Wheel Camper

Well, looking at your build thread it looks like you like to have some fun with your truck. With glass you should be able to fit a 38" tire pretty nicely. In your situation, I would run AAM 4.56.

    2015 Ram 2500 Carli/Thuren Build W/Four Wheel Camper

Well kind of. You have to install a conversion bearing (included in the kit) to make the 11.8 gear fit. I think there are other differences between the two axles but not sure what they are. Also, I have had time to put some miles on them now and I am beyond happy. "The Rear End Shop" in...

    2015 Ram 2500 Carli/Thuren Build W/Four Wheel Camper

I already have the Carli front diff guard. I am looking for a diff cover for the rear that isn't thin metal. Not looking for a larger capacity one at all, just armor.

    2015 Ram 2500 Carli/Thuren Build W/Four Wheel Camper

Yea, definitely found that out the hard way Has anyone found a decent diff cover that fits with the 11.8 gears, clears the sway bar, and will not make contact with the rear trackbar at full bump? Preferably with a drain plug...

    2015 Ram 2500 Carli/Thuren Build W/Four Wheel Camper

No pictures for this update, but just got 4.30's put in. Really woke the truck up. Fun Fact: the rear AEV cover doesn't fit with 4.30's (n)

    2015 Ram 2500 Carli/Thuren Build W/Four Wheel Camper

To be clear, I am talking 2.5 Vs 2.5 not Carli's Back Country set of Fox 2.0's. Here is a picture I took of some coilovers I sold. Both are 2.5's, the only difference is the stroke. The Fox Coilover comes with larger hardware and just feels like a nicer product. They are both awesome and I...

    2015 Ram 2500 Carli/Thuren Build W/Four Wheel Camper

Everything is holding up great. This thing is a riot off road and is designed to take a beating. I have to remind myself to slow down most of the time, I have outrun dirt bikes and UTV's in the desert. I like the Kings but wish they were Fox. There's no issues with them per se but I really like...

    2015 Ram 2500 Carli/Thuren Build W/Four Wheel Camper

Thank you! I have a 35" tire in the factory spare location for now. I figured whichever tire quits on me the 35 will go on the front to not mess with the rear limited slip. I also have a tire patch kit and a portable compressor. I do like the idea of a swing out carrier from Aluminess. I just...

    2015 Ram 2500 Carli/Thuren Build W/Four Wheel Camper

Option 2 involves a little more creativity but works effectively the same. Instead of grabbing the signal wire directly at the box, you grab it out of the plug that is located in the passenger kick panel. Things to purchase: Aux switch panel for your truck ($70), concours specialties relay/fuse...

    2015 Ram 2500 Carli/Thuren Build W/Four Wheel Camper

Sorry about the delay... Here is the write up for both ways to add the factory aux switches. I'll do them in two posts. I did option 1 for my truck and option 2 for a buddies. They both work based on the same ideology, just routed different. The factory auxiliary switches are setup to be a...

2017 Dodge Ram 2500 - An Overland work in Progress

I ordered the cheap programming cable off Amazon and use the program CHIRP. I have the weather channel programmed in, some pit channels for KOH, as well as the one my group usually uses when we go out. We stay far away from marine and the typical emergency frequencies so we dont cause any...
