Also, who is doing the engine mods?
My 24 valve can be tweeted with a black box, but if the VP45 injection pump gives me trouble I might be looking for a place to do a P-Pump conversion.
Cool.
One last thing about yours that you probably know: the killer dowel pin. If you haven't heard of it, just google it. It's a huge pita to take care of but not has to be done.
Can you point me in the direction of the folks who did your spring work? I want to do the same thing to my Xplorer.
Regarding the steering: pre Gen III ram use a Panhard bar with a tie rod end on one side. It is under built. And the steering dropped pitman puts a ton of pressure on the...
what/where did you get the rear springs? Custom made or??
Have you done the heavy duty steering linkage, steering brace, and 3rd gen panhard bar retrofit? Made a huge difference on mine as far as handling.
aside from the Earthroamers... these are some of the best built class C RV. They only made them for a short time; about 5 years. The fit and finish is a step above most others on the road; and the price tag reflects it.
I just bought a 2WD version because after 6 months of looking I...
Looks like the 22' model to me. Owner sent me interior Picts and I didn't see the couch (which the longer ones had).
Still, for someone looking for a 4x4 Class C, there aren't many options.
Not mine.
These are very well built motorhomes. This one has a bit of rear overhang, but custom springs and some super single 35" tires and it'd get you to a lot of places. Pretty sure it's a gasser.

That thing sounds great! And very little smoke. Sounds like the new turbo was a nice improvement.
I killed the head on my 1hdft. Waiting for a new/used head from England.
little bit much, but pretty cool looking rig:

There's one model with strangely little amount of overhang.
There's also a build on... Pirate? Or Mud? Where a vendor (one of the gear/axle resellers) put one on 42's.
I'm not saying it would be as tough as an ER. But it's less than half the cost new. And with a cummins 6BT, Dana 60 front...
Company was sold in 2005? But I believe they are back up and running. These sold new for around 100k. I've seena couple posts are RV forums from satisfied owners who said fit and finish was quite good (compared to other RVs I guess?). Was the Tiger ever built on a Dodge platform? I'm a big...
Has anyone ever seen one of these Xplorer (edited, I meant) Xcursion in person? They seem like they'd be a poor-man's EarthRoamer. Built on a Dodge 3500 or a Ford F-something chassis, they can be had with the diesel (cummins or ford) engine, 4WD (and now a 6WD dual rear axle option), they are...
