Looks to be right hand drive, perhaps she is just confused on the whole FJ60/FJ62 thing. I'd ask her a few more questions, then check out the VIN- it may tell you lots of info. Maybe a local expo person in the Bay area can check it out for you?
If it helps your friend at all, here is what I know about used Warn winches sold locally:
-Bought mine (Warn 12.0) well used last year for $300. Needed some work and a new syn line. I'm in for about $600 total. New price is +-$1400
-Picked up a "used" 9.5ti (not multimount) for a buddy for...
You're being too kind a friend. Usually folks do a little research and then appropriately price an item based upon its age, condition and current new sales price.:costumed-smiley-007 Your friend is being more than a bit lazy.

Price, I would say 5-6k would be a really good deal. Much over 6k, I owuld be looking hard at what major maintenance has been done to justify a higher price.
Also, take it to a dirt area and check the transfer case and lockers before you buy.
I own a built 80 and think it is probably more capable than I am, but the minuses noted here are pretty accurate.
-Still borderline overheats on big hills in the summer, despite new radiator and fresh coolant
-Tractor motor, will run forever, but won't get you anywhere very fast
-Seats are not...
