You are correct- it is a dial to the left of the steering wheel. I own an 97 FZJ80 with factory lockers. Given a choice, and IF I could come out even $ wise (big if) I would prefer one with non factory lockers and would instead install ARBs. I have owned ARBs in the past and just prefer them...

The price on all of the bolt on's gave me sticker shock. I printed out pix of the IPOR, 4x4 Labs, Kaymar and Slee, figured out which features/parts of each one I liked best and then took them to a local fab guy. He built me exactly what I wanted for 1/2 the price of the others.

Price, I would say 5-6k would be a really good deal. Much over 6k, I owuld be looking hard at what major maintenance has been done to justify a higher price. Also, take it to a dirt area and check the transfer case and lockers before you buy.

Those trailers look kind of neat at first, but the one owner I talked to complained baout how bad the thing was in any sort of windy conditions.
