I've read this thread and others, including some reviews about So-Cal Teardrops and have a couple of questions about real life use. First, we come from our fourth season of using a heavily modified pop up tent trailer, that has a water system with pump, heater, matching tires and wheels and a...
Well, after freezing our badonks off this last week in Utah, we now have a May pickup date for our 510 xs (?). Our tent trailer is just peachy during the warm months but the R-1 insulation factor is just no enough even with our Propex heater. R-16 just sounds more robust from here!

If you're by yourself, you don't need much water. My woman and I like the expedition style of camping... out in the middle of nowhere, taking day trips and coming back to fresh cooked meals, easy clean up and simple showers. We can go nine days without a refill.

I just had some yahoo back into my yoke side of my Max coupler and bend it. I've had it almost four years without a single issue. The good news is that I can buy just the upgraded yoke, which I hear is even better.
The reason I went with Max coupler was at the time, I was able to get three keyed alike hitch pins. L&R hitch pin was smaller and I liked being able to lock my trailer to my truck.
I think we are a whole are so used to excess that never have to suffer the lack of space, panels or etc. Make your usages and systems as tight and energy efficient as possible, use what it takes to get there.
