Conqueror Compact trip AL to ME

I'd stay away from the orange oil stuff. Who knows what that solvent will do to other materials in the fabric. A simple stick of beeswax, rubbed on the seam, fills in the holes. It melts and fills in perfectly in the sun. Doesn't migrate away either or cause other problems. If you find you...

    Any conqueror owners contemplating selling?

Here's another post from today. Still in the Southeast. Might be well worth it though. You just never know. http://www.expeditionportal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=41013goto=newpost

    Trailer Insurance?

X2 I use Allstate. Added the trailer no problem and covered it as far as theft/vanalism/ damage, etc.. Regardless of where it is parked. Liability is covered by the tow vehicle. Ran me $60 or $70 bucks a year. And I insured it for enough to cover all the contents of the trailer as well.

Rallylights Hella Headlight Kit in a JK

Bill- that looks like a great setup. Rallylights is a great vendor. I have nothing but positive remarks about them as well. Be careful driving around with that setup. PETA may petition you for blinding innocent wildlife and then leaving them to fend for themselves...

    Arctic Explorer Isuzu P'up

I had an 81 Pup diesel longbed that I bought new. The Isuzu was far superior to the competing Toyota or Datsun diesels also available at the time. Maintained it myself. Other than normal wear items like tires, brakes, fluids, etc., I replaced one water pump in its service life of 529,000...

    ARB Fridge question

I bought one as well last spring. Used it all year. It is pretty well made and lined with mylar. I bought it mainly to help keep the fridge from getting banged up which it does pretty well. It seems like in theory it would help the fridge cycle less by adding another of insulation but in...

    Question of the year

Excursion with the V10 is also know as the Ford Valdez. It is a great vehicle though. My dad had one. Not lifted. I have seen lifts available from 2 to 7 inches here: http://www.iconvehicledynamics.org/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=21_29_48&products_id=38 I don't think they are a forum...

    Gobi Style Locking Knobs

Randy- I ran into the same issue so I called Gobi last spring and asked them who their supplier was. Turns out they have them made and Gobi was happy to sell them to me separately. I think I bought ten. The also matched up the locks for me. Great folks. Another alternative that I found was...
