    LR3 Slider options/opinions

You'll need to trim the bottom plastic rocker trim. Mine had small plastic extrusion lines on the inside that matched almost perfect for the long straight cut. They're shaped like a T in the pictures. The end cuts are measure twice and cut once affair [emoji6]. Sent from my E6810 using Tapatalk

    Custom LR3 storage drawer system

The top height of the drawers are a few inches below the seat back height. My son's head and body is well inside the car seat and protected from rear impact. We store everything on top inside front runner bags and haven't had an issue with them sliding around much. I've been running the basic...

    Custom LR3 storage drawer system

All design, fabrication, and wiring was done by myself. Any project no matter how big or small should start with detailed planning and research. Aluminium is expensive compared to wood but thinner material yields equal if not greater strength and longevity. Using thinner material creates more...

    Cooper true sine inverter

Anybody else using this inverter? http://www.cooperindustries.com/content/public/en/bussmann/transportation/products/power_conversion/inverters/true-sine-wave-inverter.html I've all ready integrated this into my build but was looking for some long term reviews or experience. Thanks. Sent from...

    Suggestions on 110v outlet?

I searched a bit during my build and never found anything I was satisfied with. So I did a 30' cord reel attached to inverter integrated into my drawer system. Sent from my E6810 using Tapatalk

People think pulleys increase pulling power.

LR3 factory air tank for aux air.

Tapped out the odd ball factory fitting on the tank to 3/8npt and used a 3/8npt to jic4 adapter fitting and used all braided stainless jic4 hoses for everything. Sent from my E6810 using Tapatalk

LR3 factory air tank for aux air.

Mounted a factory air tank on the passenger side for aux air storage. Mounted in the same area in between the rocker and frame as the driver's side suspension air tank. Modified and fabricated brackets for mounting. Removed and rethreaded factory air fittings to common 1/4 npt. This tank and air...

    LR3 Slider options/opinions

Lucky 8 sliders here. The hardware that is supplied is cheap. The rocker panel holes are slotted and enlarged to make fitment easier and required adding some hardened fender washers. The step tubing isn't welded all the way around and allows water inside without a way to drain. They fit nice and...

Your preferred Roof Rack straps, tie down options?

Another vote for front runner stratchit straps. Also as noted by others I've replaced the attachment hardware with larger stainless snap hooks. Also if you haven't bought cases yet take a look at the pelican air cases, much lighter and still as solid as original. Sent from my E6810 using Tapatalk

    Simple free standing hammock idea

The tripod legs are 6' and the ridge pole is around 9'. All the measurements are dependent on the users size and how you want the hammock to hang. It's important to note that both ends of the hammock attach to the ridge pole to to keep the ridge in compression. If the washers on the ridge are...
