I would like to know this as well. Seemed like a loss of fuel just letting it idle for parts of the trip during the trail cuts etc. Was this needed to power the production equipment's battery chargers etc.?
Looks like a great trip! Thanks for the story and photo's. Looking forward to more!!! Nice to see the side storage idea in use as I may do the same in a smaller Xterra Pro4x.
That left me to my own devices and I started checking out some trails for future use.
Was not sure if a 2x8 cantilevered about 11” past the 12” square support beam underneath would hold the 5300lb truck so I didn't try this little quad bridge.
Time for some new wet trails to...
Was another weekend adventure this time meeting Overlanders from the Kelowna BC area that were dropping in to say Hi and to play on our wonderful Granite rock faces while on the way to the East Coast. I had a rough start with forgetting the food/cooler at home and had to turn back from past...
Awesome!!! I will be very interested in hearing how that panel on the hood holds up to the daily abuse! I have been thinking of something similar with a flex panel for mine. You take great pictures and I am very interested in seeing whats next!
Thanks, I bought this one to be used with the full expectation that the bodywork might suffer for it. It still starts and runs like a new truck! Lol

Birds were everywhere. Every 10 min I could stop on the trail and tag dinner if I tried (no hunting on this trip)

I am loving these things!!!
Just because I had to drive past this spot twice ;) Never mind the other fun uses they had that weekend!
MattScott - You need to start an Official MaxTrax in use picture thread! Hint Hint :)
