SOLD FS: Front Runner Drawer System - Bend Oregon

My LR3's third row seats are in storage next to the drawer system and I'd probably sell those too if anyone wants them.

SOLD FS: Front Runner Drawer System - Bend Oregon

SOLD $1,500 Definitely prefer local sale in Bend Oregon but I guess I could consider shipping at an additional cost. I suppose these things have to be shipped when bought new too! I have a frontrunner drawer system for Land Rover lr3. The basic drawer system is probably the same as for other...

    Xanadoo Upper Boot Basket LR3/4

I want the 3rd window gull wing! Any news on that?

    SLO's Family Rig

Thanks for the write up and pics. i have a 6x10 cargo trailer that i built last spring to tow with our LR3 and my family of 4 camp in it. It has worked really well except for the suspension. I was thinking about Timbren for the simplicity but they don't have much travel. It's interesting what...

Cargo Trailer 5x8 Overland Conversion - Cherokee XJ Content

Nice build. I have a 6x10 i've converted for my family of four. I put two standard roof vents in it and they give so much light, i'm really glad i did. you might consider that if you're adding ventilation.

1992 Dodge W250 Cummins / VW Vanagon Abomination *MAY CAUSE BLINDNESS*

Are you going to Descend on Bend? I don't imagine this rig will be ready, but it would sure be a hit if it was (maybe 2022?).

DIY Green Oval Experience or Faskit or What do you carry for EAS trail failure?

Great list, thank you! A question though, do you know how much air pressure is required to achieve ride height with an LR3 heavily loaded for a trip? I've heard that it is probably much more than can be provided by the compressors that most of us carry for airing up our tires. Something...

    LR3 gearing

I don't think i'm interested in portals but if gears come along, i might be interested in being part of a group buy.

Tablet for multiple cameras, Gaia, G maps and music?

The Garmin overlander does look pretty compelling. Frankly though, that and a camera or two are just way more money ($1,040) than i can budget for this project. I think with a decent used tablet and some rando backup cameras, there's a pretty good chance i could put something together for $200...

1992 Dodge W250 Cummins / VW Vanagon Abomination *MAY CAUSE BLINDNESS*

Hope you're feeling better. This is one of the best things i've seen on the internet, hope you are able to continue to work on it!

Tablet for multiple cameras, Gaia, G maps and music?

Maybe the new Disco 5's. Mine's working with mid 2000's technology and was probably advanced at the time, but the LR3 was released before iPhones existed. Its connectivity is pretty limited by today's standards. That actually sounds pretty compelling. I may have to see if i can get my hand on...

Tablet for multiple cameras, Gaia, G maps and music?

I'm not real excited about a Garmin product due to the number of old GPS units that were expensive and rapidly became obsolete. It's pretty expensive and i've yet to see a garmin product that even approaches the usability of a tablet... then again, it's been quite a while since i've looked at...

Tablet for multiple cameras, Gaia, G maps and music?

I'd like not to mess with the existing sound system. The quality is outstanding and it's liable to break the suspension or some damn thing if i mess with the radio on this over-complicated but fantastic rig. I just want to hook into the existing auxiliary input.

Tablet for multiple cameras, Gaia, G maps and music?

I did some searching and haven't found this discussion, though i doubt i'm the first to want this, so if the advice already exists I apologize but i haven't found it. I've got an LR3 and i'd like to install a 7" android tablet in front of the factory nav screen. On this new tablet, i'd like to...

    Gaia vs Onx

Gaia even has a land ownership layer (premium maybe) that names the owner of the land. It's not perfect and i'd guess the onx one may be better since it sounds like that is one of the primary functions of onx. Gaia is far from perfect and pretty frustrating in some ways, which keeps leading me...

Post pictures of your Land Rover.

I picked this one up a month or so ago. Pics are from a way-too-short tour of Alabama Hills on the way home. This rig may already be in this thread, i wouldn't be surprised if the previous owner was active on the forum. 2008 HSE Lux, seems to have been very well cared for. We are enjoying it...

    LR3 park brake adjustment

No new parts. The brake wasn't holding well so I disassembled, cleaned, adjusted according to the directions and reassembled. Looser now than it was before. Maybe I screwed something up? I guess I'll try again, maybe tomorrow night. Rotor, pads and shoes all have plenty of material remaining I...

    LR3 park brake adjustment

FWIW, I just followed the process in the linked brake Bible (the text of which is duplicated on the Atlantic British website) and my parking brake is now way too loose. I was missing the rubber plugs in the rotors and the passenger side parking brake had what seemed like rubber melted /smeared...

    OPUS 15' Hybrid Caravan

thanks for the feedback Phuston. How do you like that rear bed pop out? With the multiple hinged panels, does it seem fairly robust/durable, easy to use? Does it do a reasonbly good job of keeping drafts and rain out? That is one of the more interesting features of that trailer in my opinion.
