Some one please try and follow me and see if this makes sense cause it is 3am my time.
Where is the temp sensor for the coolant gauge on the dash?
Is it possibly right beside the rad cap?
What is prob the biggest restriction with the whole engine that makes the most amount of heat?
Sure...
Hmm very interested. I was looking at auto meter ones.
I know many of these trucks drive 100 000s km with out then but I feel like I should be watching these temps
I just booked a plate between the exhaust manifold and the egr tube. That way the egr is blocked but if I get pulled over by dot it still looks factory
I wonder what the spool would be like on a td05? I could prob source a td05 14b from a talon easily.
Guess make a adapter plate since the fuso flange looks different.
Ha yes or 6bt...if you ever see the 4m50 outside of the truck is massive...I have a spare:)
Think I will see what i can accomplish with the mitsu..I believe like there cars they're is magic that is a few mods away.
I think it works backwards so the bottom of the rad which sees the most air...
Yes..I feel the small turbo it's basically a heat generator and it's causing some of my heat problems as well keeping heat in the engine from the small exhaust housing and the intake side just blows super heat which prob helps heat the rad:)
Is this on the fe you where discussing?
I think the reason the thermostat is on the bottom cause the coolant system works in reverse like old vw.
How do the rad fins look?
I think if the egr cooler was leaking you would get exhaust in the coolant.
Did you have a load on?
Is the steinberner chip for fe? Thought it was just the fg?
On mine cause of the higher gvw brakes and suspension seemed to handle the weight well.
If I had more power I think a little help with lower rpm would be 19.5" wheels from a hino or similar.
I have to much money in this truck to...
Hmm very interesting... My gvw is 18 000. I towed a 10 000 pound trailer behind it...did 60-65mph ok on flat but hills where another story.
I bought this truck to start a business and choose mitsu cause I have only had and love mitsu cars. I assumed I could do 65 with a load easy but so far...
