anyone ever imported a diesel HiLux to the US?

yeah if it happens. we'll see. After this last trip, I'm not sure. It's gotten so astronomically expensive to live over there, not sure if I can make it work.

anyone ever imported a diesel HiLux to the US?

eh. I'm not sold on the Colorado. That's a lot of GD money for a truck. I'll just keep my 98 4runner and maybe look at a diesel Landcruiser down the line. More likely I'll keep the T4R and add a Cummins Dodge or finally build that 4 link 3rd gen Econoline 7.3 swap 4x4 I want to do. I also may...

anyone ever imported a diesel HiLux to the US?

Hey guys, I just got back from Iceland for the 3rd time, and once again I fell in love with the diesel HiLux that is everywhere over there. Has anyone here had success in importing one? What was the cost and was it worth it in the end? Thanks

    2006 Earthroamer XV-LT For Sale - $150k - SOLD

different strokes, I guess. On every other forum I frequent, it's considered bad form to criticize the price in the sale thread. On most forums, any comments doing so will be removed. Discuss value outside of the man's listing, and let him sell his vehicle. If the price is out of line, the...

02 Taco for $17k...this is getting out of hand.

holy ********. that's retarded. Mine is every bit as clean as that one and the more sought after 5spd MT and e-locker. Granted it had 165k on it when I bought but I got it for under 4 in the last 6 months. FFS.

    Manual transmission in a van?

following. I love having an auto for regular driving, but my transmission gets REALLY hot when I go offroad, so I've been considering this. I have a 460, so it's not like I ever run out of power, though.

02 Taco for $17k...this is getting out of hand.

Yeah. Sometimes doesn’t work though. There’s some instafamous dude that has a 4x4 g20 for sale on eBay. He listed it at instafamous prices and has slowly been dropping it for a month or so now. Another couple months and it might get to a reasonable price.

02 Taco on BAT. less than an hour left and it's at $17k. Nice truck but seems a bit outrageous, imo. Thoughts? https://bringatrailer.com/listing/2002-toyota-tacoma-trd-limited-double-cab/

Diesel vs gas engine for camping and General purpose

internet forum and fb group echo chambers have fueled (ahem) the idea that the only viable choice is a 7.3 Powerstroke. This is based on the supposed superior reliability and mpg of the diesels. It's gotten so bad that if two offroad vans are otherwise identical, the one with a 7.3 will have an...
