I don't get it. Rover already makes yuppie girl SUV's. Why make another one?
It's like, as if Dodge wanted to compete with the new Bronco, so they slap a Ramcharger sticker on a Caravan.
You can always use a hitch carrier and then keep your small spare in the stock location. That's what I'd do.
Any open rear diff should be able to survive miss matched tires at low speeds for short periods. I'd try to upgrade my OEM spare for a 35 if was running 37's though. At least try...
If you going fullsize, definitely check out the Bundutecs. The short bed camper have the overhang rear, but it's pretty high up. You ain't going to drag it. The long bed versions sit completely inside the bed. And the tray models are built however you want.
I'm not sure what the Tremor...
Overlanders always step on my Ti stakes in sand, knock the rope off, making the buried stake impossible to find in the morning.
I use railroad nails:

If I need a garbage truck, milk truck, or tabloid paper delivery truck for a tight city? Maybe.
If I'm going cabover crazy, I'm getting one of these and putting a little TT on it's back:
Bundutec.
I have got to have a shower. Half of my campers use is travel, not overlanding. So while a indoor shower isn't needed at the beach, campground, state park, or desert, it's indispensable if I'm parked at a race track or shooting range.
I want them to go away so I don't get issued one at work.
I've had a dozen. Econoline, Express 3500 short and long. Every single one of them was a death trap that screamed ''disposable technician that we don't care about'' when I got to the jobsite. Exhausting to drive compared to my...
If they offered 4wd on the 3500's I'd let you win.
At least until the trans fails, or the van bounces off the road and kills all of us. We have a bunch of the chassis cab vans now. They're pretty scary to drive. No idea why the van bodies can't go on a truck frame? And drive in an...
And gears. You'll want more than 4.10 with 37" tires. Older PW's had 4.56 which was very nice.
Which is why I didn't go that route. I'll add exactly the gears and front locker of my choice, this way.
Wish someone would get a Tremor and mod it, so that I won't have to put Raptor running boards on my 250.
Ebay has a set under $300. My card is in a pretty big block of ice though.........
So using the wheels and tires for scale, 16.5" rocker clearance?
My truck has 28" clearance there, and 18" under the trans crossmember, which is the lowest point between the wheelbase. And it's barely enough for overlanding here.
Nope. It's the same truck. There's very little difference between the two. I'd lean towards the F150, because the Tundra is a bit old fashioned at this point.
Ford's have plenty of aftermarket support, just add the word ''Raptor'' to your search. Full underbody skidplates available...
