For those of you who own one. I had mine and the alignment seemed "perfect". Took it on a test ride (hit several large bumps/rocks) and the driver side was WAY off.. camber was very positive.. like an inch more than the passenger side at the top of the tire. Seems the cams bolt from the...
Modified the stove drawer, removed the latch and covered it up with some plate with a finger hole in it. Found a place to store a shovel and ax and keep them from being walked off with. Also built a fuel and water can holder for the tongue. Plan to do some more modifications to the tongue...
Honestly its minimal where I am at. It has rained maybe 4-6" total. Winds had gusts into the 40 MPH range but have died off. Nothing like they are getting in Houston. It did saturate the ground pretty good here, had a couple 10-12' tall shrubs in the front yard want to tip over with the winds...
RWB_Runner, great idea to replace the drawer. That latch eats up so much space. They could have used something much smaller or an external latching mechanism and given us a few more inches for a stove.
Its probably not Northridge, its most likely SB. When I bought mine even SB didn't have a clue when it would ship. When it showed up at 4WP they are the ones who called (out of the blue) and said "hey we got this thing here for you, can you come get it is taking up all our dock space". LOL
Well about the batteries.. I put a single Odyssey group 31 battery in the tongue box on mine... maybe I could fit two but I was concerned with tongue weight.. one was 75 lbs. Also there really is limited room in the tongue box.. two would be really tight.. but without a battery box for sure. I...
Kinda funny story about BBRSP. In the middle is a ranger station.. and they have showers. I went out there with 2 of my good friends and we decided to head back to the RS for a shower (rather 3.. not that good of friends :) ). Anyhow, me and another guy go in (there are 2 showers) and we turn...
Big Bend Ranch State Park. Its more "rugged" than Big Bend National Park. Some awesome camp sites out there. Last time I went our camp site was 2+ hours from pavement. LOL. If you go, bring more fuel than you think you will need. I only brought an extra 5 gallons and it was not enough.. now...
I want to do a BBRSP trip with mine. Its been a few years since I have been there. Would be perfect with the trailer. Might need to look into another trip at the beginning of next year.
I had yet to get mine on the road with the RTT on so I pulled it out and took it down the road. Towed well. Brought it home and sprayed the tent and annex with fabric guard/sealer. It was stupid hot outside so it dried fast at least. Planning to take it out and actually use it early in Sept...
Just verified, the space between the two supports is 35.75". So the Jobox ones would be a very tight squeeze and probably require some more fabrication.
