LR3 roof rack vs rear tire carrier question

There are a couple reasons why others don't put the tire swing arm on the left side: (1) it blocks access to the G4 ladder (if you have one). Sure you can swing the tire out to get access, but its just another thing to do. And esthetically the left side would just look too busy with a tire and...

    NATO Fuel Can Source

The "not for fuel" stamp allows them to sell in California, so this is a good thing! To play it safe in case I ever got into an accident and so rescue teams would understand what is in the cans, I got a set of DOT compliant GASOLINE decals from this site...

LR3 roof rack vs rear tire carrier question

I have both the Baja Rack roof rack and a custom rear tire swing that i built. The first thing to note is that a rear tire swing alone isn't going to yield much in the way of extra carrying capacity (i.e. the tire plus whatever you can fit in a trash-a-roo) unless you specifically design the...

Matt - can you take a picture of the Kaymar swing out from the side like the 1st picture I've posted below? I'd like to see how the spare tire on the Kaymar swing arm sits against the hatch-line. Can you also take one looking straight at the back, like the 2nd picture I've posted below...

if you are planning on adding some driving lights to the LR4 either on the ARB bumper or the roof rack, here is a write up I did on another LR forum that details how you can get the optional factory driving light switch wired up: Over the weekend I fitted the Factory Lr3 2nd driving light...

Help with ARB Front Bumper Install..

you won't be able to fly completely solo on this....when you go to mount the bumper to the LR3 you will need two people, with one capable of lifting the bumper (its heavy) while the other gets the mounting bolts in place. It took my brother and I roughly 13 hours to install mine. Nothing too...

2009 LR3 with no locking rear diff. Is TC good enough for offroad?

My advise is to hold out for the HD Package. I reluctantky passed on many very nice non-hd lr3s, but after 3 months of searching I finally found my perfect lr3 with the three must have options I would settle without: black interior, cold pkg, hd pkg.....added bonus was mine also has the lux...
