I found a couple of questionable products, from the usual scumbags:

That one claims 36W, but I do not know how many angry pixies the...
I am contemplating going a different route and using a hatch:

Seems more flexible and prevents the requirement that all connectors be waterproof.
Thoughts?
Has anyone come across a high-quality USB-C charger that is low(er) noise and will charge Apple's latest !@&^%@$! MacBooks? I guess the advantage over my McGyver'd 12V MagSafe power supply is that it will be an industry standard, but damn that's annoying.
Thanks,

So I have a permanently installed panel and a portable "suitcase" panel. I want a nice, clean, and rugged connection for the suitcase panel when it is in use. Comes with MC4, but I can rectify that if required.
I really like my stuff to be able to withstand the abuse of yours truly, a dimwitted...
Anyone know of a decent way to draw schematics? I’m not taking about low-level circuit diagrams, but larger schematics that help know what’s wired to what.
I’m designing a power system for a trailer and I’d like to have something that will help me track down the number of terminals, sizes...
Except I already have two giant batteries sitting under the hood. Seems a little ridiculous to get yet another. I have seen a few threads on 'mud where guys replace the starter with a 12V model and tear out all the extra wiring. Then you can use a deep cycle on one side and a DC-DC charger. But...
Yes, as I mentioned above, maybe with a lack of clarity: "(…) a 12v system that uses a solenoid to feed a 24v starter (…)".
Yup, that's exactly what it does. Funny, I've heard people call my beloved truck a tractor, before… :)

It really annoys me that I rarely see anything above 13.8v on my '94 HDJ81, which is a 12v system that uses a solenoid to feed a 24v starter from two factory batteries under the hood. I need to replace one of the main wires, which appears to have drop, and get a third house battery. :cautious:
Heh, didn't realize I had a signature line! Wait, I don't. I'll add one. :P
With the RTT, it's a 5-minute job. I expect that won't be case with kids, for sure.
But, travel will sometimes takes us through urban areas, which entail camping at rest stops and trailheads.
