You have to have the truck in 4Hi and then stop, put truck in Nuetral, then push the 4LO button. 4Hi light will still be on as it must be engaged prior to going into 4Lo. Cannot go straight from 2wd to 4Lo
UPDATE
We had snow on the forecast this weekend and my wife and I had yet to source a Christmas tree. A couple calls later and we had a small posse together to spend a few hours in the mountains today as we hunted for a Christmas tree. Nothing crazy but there was a solid 6-8" of fresh snow and...
Thanks, been watching you're build closely. I saw you recently got out in the snow with your beadlocks. Looking good! Curious, what was your rationale for going with glass up front? You sticking to 285's or going bigger later?
Interesting to hear you didn't like the Nittos. I was actually...
I think it's a good move. You're throwing a LOT of changes at the rig all at once and this route you can get everything buttoned up and then move to the extra work to get the big tires to fit down the road. Hell, I'm just stoked to see this thing on LT and beadlocks!
Close! No need to tub on the 4th gen though... which is nice. Probably sticking to a 34" tire tho.
Thanks! Like I mentioned before, I always loved your rig as well as your photos. Would love to meet up and wheel sometime when I'm down your way or if you head back up here.
Thanks! An 09'...

Lol Well then, I think that answers it.....Oh and I just caved and got the beadlocks I've been hum-haw'ing over for several years. :peepwall: Can't wait to wheel in the snow with 4 psi!!
In all seriousness...
Nice builds! Cool that you're pickup was a TDI too, not something you see everyday.
Love the color combo on the 5th gen. RTT looks like it belongs too. Well done.
Thanks!
Yah I used a cheap tape deck adaptor when I drove it home from Vancouver. It was aweful so I knew it had to change. Should have all the wiring done by this weekend.
Thanks guys!
Yah the decals don't usually last forever. I'm lucky though that I can drop in and grab new Gear Shop...
UPDATE
As I wait for some of my parts to show up, I have been tinkering with some of the interior items in my spare time. If you've followed my previous builds at all, you have probably heard me talk of the "small details" and IMO how they are what sets a build apart and truly makes something...
