Still in use and still holding up great!
I made a couple cheap choices when building that I now regret:
- not installing a fantastic fan. I may try adding one though.
-using cheap wood for trim and for my fenders. I am going to need to take it all off, weld some fenders and do something...
I don't have one, I'll post one later today if I have some time.
That's exactly what I've been doing. The more we use it the more we see what we like and dislike and things we want to change.
Good looking truck, I really like those raptor rims! I have a '13 EB Screw with 6.5' bed that I recently acquired and will be building. Really wanted the 5.0, but the ecoboost is turning out to be a good motor.
I do have some updates, I'll have to get pictures uploaded later. I haven't had much time to work on it or use it for that matter, as I am finishing up my agricultural engineering degree.
Things that are done:
- I have electricity now. Two group 31 batteries, an inverter, and some interior...
This is how I have always felt, but typically get written off as a Ford fanboy. Seeing all of these newer trucks makes me want to upgrade from my 2005 5.4L SCREW, gonna have to wait a few years though. Until then I'll just enjoy this build and others on here!
This is how I feel about it as well. That's why I bought a Yeti. When I can afford to buy a fridge that can be installed in my offroad camper and live there I will own one, but until then my yeti will work great.
Thanks guys. The canvas I am using is just a regular drop canvas from harbor freight, the 10oz variety. The waterproofing comes from the exterior paint. It took almost two gallons of paint to fill the weave of the canvas, and then I painted it the color my wife chose.
