This is the same place, and like I earlier stated tag-a-long tours takes Ford Excursions on this trail. You can find the videos on YouTube.
Here is a link to my YouTube video from last April. http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=zmnnv9swYyw
There are youtube videos of a tour group from Moab, Tag-a-Long, running Ford Excursions on Elephant Hill Trail. I also took my '05 Tundra through there last Easter. Your suburban would fit just fine.
Great Trip report. Good to see some higher end rigs getting out and used.
Roverrock wonderful pictures. You make me jealous. As I look at these pictures I start to think if I have enough free time this summer to make it back over there. It has been three of four years now since we drove engineer pass.
We should plan a Tundrabirds trip that includes Black Bear. Can you imagine the look on folks faces in Telluride when a dozen Tundras show up in Town after completing Black Bear?
I can tell by your comment that you are a novice off-roader.:sombrero: Maybe there isn't a lot of red rock in Iowa. Your Jeep is more than set up for the White a Rim Trail. I have seen all manor of stock SUVs on the trail. You've got a good set up now you just need to learn how to use it and...
I know it has been awhile since this dicussion ended, but my parents lived on the res 45 years ago, as well as my friends father. The reason for its name (as far as I have been told) comes from Navajo tradition, not Mormons, or any other religion.

Wow! I wasn't looking for a fight. Calm down and breath through your nose. The suggestion is just that, a suggestion. 33s would most likely fit, still tuck under the fenders, not effect the gearing, and give one inch of ground clearance over the 31s. They are also not as wide as 32s. Cost...
Here is a teaser shot of the Tundra on Dollhouse Rd. just after the Z turns in the Maze District of Canyonlands. The other shot was our destination, Dollhouse camp #2. There is a thread on this trip with a great video. My pics are on page three. I have a short video of me negotiating the Z...
Last summer on our trip to Jellystone Park (Hey Boo Boo), we saw in the 16.5 range with the M416 in tow and 265 BFGs. In November, we saw almost 17 on a long highway trip with the first 75 miles in 4 hi, again with the BFGs. This last trip, with the bigger Coopers (285s), and my wife in one...
