Day Three. Before leaving The Dollhouse, we hiked to the granaries that are in the area. Then we headed for the Flint Trail, Ray's Tavern for a burger, and then home.
These pictures are from day two hiking in the Maze. The pictographs are part of the "Harvest Scene." Fun, but no where near as clear and elaborate as what we see in Nine Mile Canyon.
We met up with Steve and his group at the gas station in Hanksville. We traveled with them to The Dollhouse, and then the next morning our group split. We took an eight mile loop down into the Maze with Gordon and Jessica. We stayed another night at the Dollhouse. It was a extremely windy...
My family spent Easter in Moab and the surrounding area. I have been going to EJS for 16 consecutive years. Even though I no longer own a Jeep it is not stopping me from enjoying red rock country. We spent our first afternoon enjoying parts of Islands in the Sky District of Canyonlands...

I don't have a trip computer, and use the gps odometer so that my mileage is accurate. I have seen high 16s running 4 hi on the highway. Now we were only going 55 to 60.
He stated that he would like to have a passenger or two, that he was tall and would like to sleep inside, and be able to store camping and climbing gear. Many of us recommended larger vehicles to meet his needs. I would never recommend a DC long bed Tacoma over a 1st gen. DC Tundra for many...
