Here's my experience. I'm 6'2" 185 and drove a 110 for about 4 hours off road. Overall it wasn't bad. I would have liked another inch or two of leg room (but they make sliders for that). The only thing that really annoyed me was banging my elbow on the door...

Ditto on the brake swap. I went down to v6 brakes on my LR3 (to fit 17's) and I can't tell a difference.

The logo is all faded and most of the elements are gone so you are seeing the regular hood blackout. Here is what the full color logo would have looked like: . Also you can see the "British Columbia '96" in this photo from when a guy was respraying the hood and sanded most of it off.

Only the '04 has one from the factory. 99-01.5 has the hardware in the transfer case but is missing the shifter with a lock (late 01 - 03 do not have a locking transfer case) All DI's have a locking transfer case.

The HD package include the active rear diff and a full size spare. It is rare in the US but much more attainable than it sounds in the UK. I've got it on mine and in our local Land Rover group there are 3 more. Not many people/dealers ordered it, but if you keep the search up you should be able...

The cheap pot metal "L" that is fused on the end of the cable. It is simply too weak and breaks at the 90 degree bend. The "L" hooks into a tab that is pulled to release the latch.

Does yours have lumbar adjustment? The later LR3's came with this option - maybe you can track down one of those seats instead of trying to swap from a different vehicle which may or may not match the rest

I guess if you are paying labor. The part is like $75 and takes about an hour to replace. Honestly everyone should just replace it as preventative maintenance every 40k
