Thanks for the link, I've never been able to track down a metal version. For what its worth, in the 65k on my '08 I've only had to replace the rear hatch actuator. Everything else has been normal maintenance.

That is true - I guess my real worry is long term reliability - Turbo heat and plastic don't go together, need to get back to the trubo and you might was well replace anything around it as its going to snap off when you try to disassemble. ..... But I'm not sure I care about the long term...

Yup you are right - my excuse is a 3 week old newborn and 4 hours of sleep :) Body you would be fine except extending all the components (brake lines, steering shaft and who knows what wiring doesn't have enough extra slack).

Body Lift (or any real mechanical lift like air bag spacers) = bad news with the Air bags It changes the geometry of the front a-arms and can cause the upper a-arm to contact and puncture the air bag.

I'm not so sure guys - on the LR3 you can have the rear lock symbol without the vehicle having one - again this is the LR3 and may not carry over to the RRS in the LR3 world the only way to know is to put your eyes on the actuator on the side of the rear diff.

Awesome pics. This is definitely the same vehicle. In the 2nd picture you posted you can see the faint outline of where the convoy plate was. Also if you view the high res version from the 2012 pebble beach you can also see the outline of where the plate was. So somewhere along the way it lost...
