    OUT WITH THE OLD...

They claim 78 mpg. But I'll understand not getting that, with my weight. I'll be swapping back to my 56 tooth sprocket. This gives me a greater amount of torque out of this small motor. I have a 1 gallon tank coming in, just have to wait till it arrives. With that tank capacity I should be...

    Canadians... What's it really like?

I find this funny, because it's proven false so easy. Handguns in the wrong hands is the problem The criminals simply are not following the law so we make up new laws that don't go after them. Automatic firearms are generally in the hands of the military are you calling them undeveloped ?

As a Canadian, I'd recommend to go with bear spray combined with bear bangers. These you can get in pen flare type or a low pressure 12g flare gun/ shot gun type. The 12g ones are about 5$ a round roughly, but you can cross the border with a USCG approved type launcher.

The airgun thread - lets see where this goes.

I've had this model for about 10 years. Always works, fairly accurate . AND as a bonus I own a Browning BuckMark in .22LR . Now a safety check will be to ensure which one goes to the range!

Is There A Good Thread Out There Already for Bad Cooks?.......

So you use them too? I use them as a quick and easy way off adding bulk to take a single person serving size, that I make with my dehydrated meals and add a bag of it also. This extends the potion sizes, and makes cleanup that much easier. The KNORR brand of Sidekicks or any other brand name...

Food for later, easy to do.

Well to add variety to my on the go adventure food without taking up my limited fridge/freezer [dometic cf40] space, I did up a Fajita mix. The peppers and onions all chopped up and mixed to the portions I like the dried. Now its easy some hot water to rehydrate while you fry the meat , then...

    Snowpeak Home & Camp Burner

I've got the similar thing in pure butane. The major issue is that the butane and isobutane stoves lack cold weather burn-ability due to the fuel not vaporizing. In my area they are good until the thermometer plummets, I use mine in late spring to early autumn . For Winter BC style I revert...

Is There A Good Thread Out There Already for Bad Cooks?.......

I took cooking as a bargain to keep my gpa at a level that I could play school sports. From there I just played around with basic recipes , and have progressed to the point that I can admit I'm decent at it. Having said that my ex wife would burn water. Start with the basics then add on...

    No refrigeration needed

I wasn't in the military back then, but I did join the Canadian Forces in 87. Med retirement in 2013, so I've had my share of rations. Brit, French Norwegian, German, US, and of course Cdn. What a spread of taste and quality,I did 3 of 5 tours eating whatever came in the box or bag not enjoyable.

Food for later, easy to do.

I'm not cheap, I'm Scottish !? I had dehydrated the strawberries a day or so beforehand, it was my template bag for making a "Coozie" hikers call them. I took a dollar store window reflector and made an envelope style for my hiking /BUGOUT/breakdown bag. It also can double as a seat pad minus...

Freeze dried hash browns - who else likes them?

In the links you can see the process from the cookpot to the bowl. Some ppl dehydrate tomato paste to create tomato dust for real extended storage and long range hiking.

Freeze dried hash browns - who else likes them?

My bad, I mean spaghetti , including sauce and some nice Italian sausage. Its pretty close to the meal you get in the Mountain House stuff . but at a fraction of the price . making it packaging the payoff
