Roof Repair: Time to Get to Work. Advice Requested

I have followed your thread; thanks for sharing! My biggest issue isn't the work, it's finding time to do it. I really wanted to get this done this summer but it's not likely at this point. Worst case I can tackle it over the winter when things slow down.

Roof Repair: Time to Get to Work. Advice Requested

Local glass place was able to replace the lower portion of the window with tinted plexiglass for about $80. I'm happy with that. Will try to get it installed in the next day or two.

Roof Repair: Time to Get to Work. Advice Requested

Soooo...8 months later I was able to spend a little time on this. Funny how building fences, corrals, round pens, etc. get in the way of fun stuff. Removed the passenger side window to see if the local glass shop can replace the lower glass panel. I also got the rear roof board out last night...

Kenny, the bumper was built by a welding shop in Greely, CO. The flares are just standard, off-the-shelf jobs, nothing fancy. Sorry, can't remember the brand name. So far they are doing fine but I'll no after a winter of hunting and hard use.

    Diesel Rig Recommendations???

Custom tuning can really help with this. Heck, even the preloaded SCT tunes are a huge improvement over stock on the 6.0. I use a modified version of the Eco City tune from Quick Tricks and it's excellent. I have a version with and without the exhaust brake feature activated. Tuning is money...

    2000 ford Excursion camping/backcountry vehicle

Not sure of the effect on an Excursion, but light bars on top can make a lot of noise. With the roof rack it may not be that big of a deal but I'd keep it in mind. They can also create a ton of glare on the hood. I have a 30" mounted on my replacement bumper and it works excellent. Looks...

I feel your pain! Truck searches can be frustrating and one tends to get disappointed a great deal...in both people and trucks. Keep looking and the right one will come up.

school bus conversion for sale!!! must go!

Pretty cool conversion. PLEASE be careful with the sale. Your ad may put you at risk because buyers will think they are dealing with a female who is alone without any kind of support. Your offer to drive and meet will certainly make it attractive to scum bags.
