I have a Buckstop kit for 2016 Ram 5500 that I will be selling. Includes bumper, fender flairs, lift kit and 5 set of wheels and tires (MPT80). Have about 4,000 miles on tires.
I used .090 aluminum for exterior walls-its taped and glued on. Its very smooth and sleek. Those two smaller back windows-one of them will be replaced with a new much larger one. I will be designed and built with same dimensions as a safety escape window. The door that is open is the hide away...
Used plastic spreaders to secure sink to counter. Added a neat controller with two pancake fans to draw heat out of rear rod behind refrigerator. Thought disco lights would be sort of fun, so I placed them in a small recess behind upper cabinets. The lowered table in dinette will serve as...
Installed counters today. Cut from Starboard. Thin and sleek. I plan on creating an insertable wear top section with contrasting color. They fit without the need of trim. Added a few little details like extended returns in order to visually draw all the cabinets elements together..

Also, can you post more pictures of your sub frame and mounts.
Nearly finished with finishing the interior of cab over portion. Still need to do the ceiling. To make the fabric covered p[anels, I used material from Perfect Fit and secured it to german Kapatech insulated panels. The Kapa stuff is thin aluminum over 3/8" foam. I secured 1/4" thick foam on the...
Awesome-love aluminum body campers. Insulation looks good. Another thin layer of insulated panel over the frame will make a bridge where cold will stop.
Your workmanship looks good.
Got the chassis ready for the camper body. I am using for springs that work under compression. The sub-frame of camper has mating "nesting" mounts that will ride on top of the isolation dampers on top of mounts. The bottom of sub-frame has two oak strips that will ride on top of frame after the...
No other supports needed. The roof is actually in tension by securing it to the roof of main body. There are stand up ribs on either side that are linked to cab over portion. Notice the three bolts at upper right.
The actuators are single speed-slow but less than a minute to full open. There are options for faster actuators, however they tend to draw more amps. Inside of cab over is 80" long. Its the camera setting that make it look long.
