Pointers for attaching an awning to a flippac

Yes from what I have seen from drilling in the side near the top there is a hollow square or slightly rectangle steel tube glassed in place. The steel is not very thick from what I remember certainly thinner than the fiberglass sidewall Should be great for backing a pop rivet.

Pointers for attaching an awning to a flippac

I didn't use the extrusion when I mounted mine, I Just bolted thru the back of the Fiamma case and the side of the flippac with 1/4" bolts and fender washers with some silicone around the holes, I used 4 bolts. The fender washers I had were too big to fit flat in the back of the awning case so...

SOLAR PANEL TO POWER COMPUTER FAN FOR VENTING (initial testing complete)

I put a pair of 4" or 6" (cant remember) muffin fans in a 20 storage container wired directly to a 15 watt solar panel over 15 years ago and they still are running just fine. They self start in the mourning and shut down in the evening as well as change rpm as the sun comes and goes from cloud...

Check to make sure its not the hard plastic air intake hose where it comes through the engine compartment. It will vibrate like all hell at certain times ( very much like you describe)... Just one little thing to check out before you go nuts trouble shooting. I had a very similar problem and...

    1st Gen 4runner + Flip-pac

Haven't really worked on the weatherstripping yet but for the couple times I have been in the talc like powder for any length of time I just duct taped the window and tailgate shut. Works fine for the day. Wouldn't be so handy if you stop and get in and out of the back several times a day. I...

    Flip Pac weight

OME with the extra leaf for sure! even though the flip is only 300 lb or so, there is so much room you will have a tendency to put more stuff in there just because you have the room to do so. Trust Me!

Which Solar Panel kit to buy?

Make it removable so you can pull it down and track the sun if you are base camped for a couple days, easier and more efficient than a movable roof mount. Plus you can park in the shade and put the panel out in the sun.

Which Solar Panel kit to buy?

I have been running one of those 85 watt panels with a morningstar 10 amp controller to charge my house battery bank ( two 6 volt golf cart batterys) and it seems to do a very good job at maintaining them. My main load is my Engle fridge which is on 24/7 along with led lights in the flippac...

    Helton Shower Install issues....maybe?

I tried the temp regulator deal and found the same thing. I have a Tacoma that also has a constant circulating system and after dealing with temp fluctuations at the shower head I just made it simple.
