I posted same question about 2 years ago and got no response. My wife has a 2006 Durango. Sux on mileage for everyday use but would love to do a build on it. :ylsmoke:
Just BAD ***!!! I love it and I want one! I would try to setup the rear more like a motor home with fridge/stove water, and new paint. You have to keep us posted on this one, I am way jealous.:Wow1:
As far as the Air Dog system goes, the filters seem to hang down a bit under the frame, anyone have a problem on trails with these? I don't do any hard core wheeling, but just was concerned since I have no experience or knowledge with these...
What kind of camping are you planning on doing? Kids, family etc. You can pull a camper and use that as a base camp and then unhook and head out for day trips on the trail. Get a truck cap and a simple sleeping/storage platform in the bed. Just starting on my 3500 also!
Had some bad experience after buying a new tent from the Coleman dealer in Tennessee and then coming home after a day of sight seeing to find a few inches of water in the tent. Obviously a defective tent and they took it back, but a/c also as we like to camp all summer. Just seems they want to...
Welcome to the portal, wish I could give you some advice but I'm not from that area. Just wanted to say I think it's great you are taking your two year old camping, the earlier the better. I have a travel trailer and my kids are used to that style of camping, as I am trying to go back to back...
Awesome! Thanks so much. I would prefer it to be mostly stock and not any "high performance" crap added that will cause me problems but will find out soon enough. Love the Cummins, regretted selling my last one. I was thinking adding some Truck Nutz would really make this one stand out...
I just purchased a 2006 3500 quad cab Cummins. I bought it from a large dealer in my area but they didn't have any information on what had been done to the truck by previous owner. The salesman said the guy had talked about how much money he spent on parts and so forth and when I asked what...
Rooster that's just awesome that you have pics showing the kids with you out there camping! Love it! Mine are so used to the standard campground type camping, I'm trying to change that now. Love the pics, very cool.
Very cool, just took my 16 month old on his first hike today. He has CP and many other neurological issues and I plan to get him outdoors and travel as much as time/money allow.
I lived in Athens for 3 years and there are tons of back roads with hiking and Hocking Hills is very beautiful. Sr 56 around New Marshfield goes all to Hocking area and has a bunch of cool spots. I used to ride my BMW GS through there.
