We used http://www.hyperventmarine.com/ . The RTT and Pop-up have cold outside air on the floor below the mattress. Body heat on the mattress above allows moisture to condense below it. The vent between the two really does help.
Well worth the investment.
I carry a Wouxun KG-UV2D or Motorola HT1250 , my son a Wouxun KG-UV2D or Yaesu VX-7R. Everyday carry for me is an Icom F50V.
The Avalanche has a Yaesu FT-8800R set up so we can crossband repeat with the UHF capable portables (Wouxun - Yaesu). We use those when hiking the remote canyons.
Black Bear can program engine and transmission functions within the PCM (Powertrain Control Module) The BCM (Body Control Module) may be where you need to go to choose other functions. This will be outside their abilities. The GM TechII , or by now TechIII? is needed to alter this module. I am...
I suspect that if you remove the blank panel where the switch would be installed, you would find the connector and wire harness to which the switch would be installed. Installing a switch would be easy. This may not work to control the traction control without a properly programmed BCM. You...
Mine is to the right side of the radio.
Just behind my laptop in this pic:
If you do not have it ... is yours AWD? Does it have the four button transfercase? (2WD-Auto 4X4-4WD-4LO)
I will say that I have only been frustrated once. Stuck in a snow drift. It just would not spin when I needed...
Does it have traction control? My 2005 Avalanche does. With it active (you have to push the button to disable) it is designed to not spin a wheel. You can press the throttle to the floor and it will back it off so that it does not spin a wheel. This sounds like what you might have experienced...
Ours rides the front deck of the trailer. It gets worse than what one in the back of your truck would get. The insulated cover has worked well for us.

Annually the technician tests the regulator, HUD, alarm, valve, seals and gauge as well as inspecting the bottle for damage. Every fifth year the bottle is hydrotested.
All our department looks for when filling bottles from outside sources is a current hydrotest date. Those can be renewed until...
I suspect that your bottle is still within the useable shelf life.
All the Scott bottles do indeed go through annual testing as well as hydrostatic retesting. Scott composite tanks have a "shelf life maximum of 15 years". This is from the date on the bottle:
This bottle can no longer be...
We have been using the Sena SMH10 Bluetooth headsets
With these I can pair all three of us in a group conversation. Had them for quite a few years now. My son learned to ride with them as did my wife. Makes teaching nice.
Very cool for trail rides on the dualsports. I can give them a heads up on...
It depends upon your gearing and the rotating mass. I do like pizza cutters though. Tire Selection for Expedition Travel: The impact of tire width on traction
The upgrade is from pre 2007 brakes to post 2007 brakes. It does indeed require 17" wheel size to clear the calipers.
Brackets and two rotors in the background
Larger caliper pistons.
A comparison of the pads shows only a small increase in contact area. Most of the swap benefit comes from...
