I had good luck with Centramatic wheel balancers on my F250 with 35's, might be worth trying? They are similar to balance beads in your tires, but without the mess.
Shoot, I want to work in your department... when I started as an LEO, I made $32k/year, which was about $3k more than other local departments were offering. I made another $14k in overtime. While I wasn't killing myself, I was working quite a bit compared to some of my peers. After 15 years on...
Stock?!?!? Don't you always put monster tires with no lift on your projects?!? C'mon man, slacking...
Jk, love the no frills nature of this truck. Keep it up.
Those are real popular with the old Willys Jeep crowd. My CJ-5 sported a set that were at least 20 years old when I bought it, they still had tread and they still held air. Note that being bias ply, they will have flat spots for the first couple of miles of use.
They are the closest thing you...
Your truck is incredible. I'm about a year out from buying though:( I'm surprised that the payload capacity is the same as my 2005 F250 diesel. Good luck with the sale!
I like your rig! I've been looking for a 2005-2007 f250 or f350 with the v10 and 6-speed for awhile now, with no luck. It doesn't help that my search is narrowed to blue or black lariat's.
How do you like the truck? If you had to start over, would you go with the same truck? My last truck had...
Just get a 7way to 4way converter plug? https://www.amazon.com/57240-7-Way-Blade-Electrical-Adapter/dp/B001EOYJJO/ref=mp_s_a_1_5?dchild=1&keywords=7+way+to+4+way+adapter&qid=1606167585&sr=8-5
The truck you ordered is pretty much exactly what I'll be looking to get next year. Such a good looking and functional truck. I can't wait to see what you do with it!
This was one of the best trip reports I've read in awhile, thanks for sharing!
One thing that stuck with me was when you said that, "I always try to spend a bit of money in any communities I pass through."
In the U.S., we're finding that cyclists are THE best resource for rural communities for...
Noooooo!!! Just give me the same truck as they sell now with a 250 mile range and an hour charging withing a reasonable distance from somewhere, and I'll be happy. I don't need "spirit fingers".
That's exciting news. Having GM build it is a huge step toward the badger coming to fruition and being a successful truck. I was convinced that it would end up being vaporware.
