Anyone have some thoughts on this hidden winch mount? I love the idea, but I'm not sure about the execution.

Been looking at bed covers, but man they are expensive. I was thinking of getting one of those retractable ones and putting a rack on.
Anyway, came across a deal on eBay for a trifold. Makes a low profile rack a bit more challenging, but I'll figure it out later...
I never liked those oem moldings..
That was a huge mess..
Found a set of EGR moldings for a Silverado crew cab. The rear moldings needed some work to fit.
There it is. The rear one has a bit more gloss now than I'd like. I even tried painting it matte. I may repaint them both later.
I may be a bit biased, but I've owned one for a good while now and I've been very happy with it. Reliability is great, even better if they are properly maintained. There's plenty of info out there on what to look for in a used one, but the usual items of concern are lower ball joints, steering...
Thanks. I'll keep that one in mind. Also considering how an an oem toyota rail system might fit.
I really like that setup you have with the spare tire and ammo cans.
Any word on someone that makes accessories for 1st gen tundra beds? Looking at ways to secure gear in the bed.
I figure I'll probably have to modify something from another vehicle, but thought I'd ask.
That branding is awful.. It's been a while since I was 14 and I wouldn't want anything labeled "ASS" on my vehicle. They say US made if you manage to make it to the site, but it comes off sounding like another generic import company.
Well, this was a fun afternoon adventure. I need to built some kind of rig to make this process a bit easier.
That camper shell has gained some substantial weight from an aluminum shell six years ago..
The hoist didn't fail me.
First time with an open bed since I started this thread in...
There's a basketball net in the driveway that I was going to tear down, but they actually filled the big square post with concrete.
Soo.. I got to thinking it might be great for say lifting a camper off a truck..
I went and drilled some holes in it and bolted up a couple pulleys and a hand...
In the front I'm not sure where yet. I recall reading about there being some spots inside the cowl that can leak, but I need to go back and search for those.
Lots of rain in Alabama.. Lots of water in the truck.
So, I opened the passenger door yesterday and probably a half gallon of water poured out. Glad I got those weathertech floor mats now.
Looks like it's leaking in through the cowl and down behind the glove box. Also in the rear corners...
Damn, I haven't been here in a hot minute.
Mostly finished relocating to Alabama.. It's been interesting. Hoping to actually move into the house next week.
Decided some painting and remodeling was necessary as our first step into the house was near vomit inducing.
I'll have a nice separate...
Haven’t had much chance to diagnose anything more on the truck. Currently knee deep in the moving process.
ABS light started coming on randomly. Truck won’t start unless I have the ac/ fan turned off. Doesn’t seem to be a battery issue, the ignition seems completely cut off and won’t even...
Anyone local to the Denver area? I have a Frontrunner Footwell tank brand new in the box. Got it for a friend, but it didn't get used.
Really just looking for a local pickup. Moving and trying to clear things out fast.
$100 if you grab it quick. Text me if you like, 719-357-7162

Got some gremlins lately. I don't know what's going on.
If my parking lights are on and I turn off the ignition, the AC/fan will stay on until the lights are turned off.
If the parking lights are off, they turn on when I turn on the AC/fan.
Truck will stall if I turn the headlights on with the...
