Yeah, I was referring to the part attaching to the axle. I'm not sure what exact name of that is. Can't figure out why a shop would remove that component.

I've stomped the brakes pretty good testing it out, they really seem good at the moment. But, yeah.. I don't even know what to make of this. Know where I can find a reference for a prop valve install? I have ABS and can't find anything specific. I have the Wilwood 260-12627 valve which I...

Been really busy trying to pack, get things ready for a move. I hate moving.. So, I had my brakes done recently. Pads, rotors, drums, stainless brake lines, etc.. Today I was looking under the truck and noticed I'm missing the rear proportioning valve. I've heard of people removing these, but...

I’m in Westminster. Yeah, the state has a lot to offer and I really like it here, but I spend a lot more time at home these days. I think I’ll actually get out and travel more after moving away.

Why does no one use a high truck shell?

Yeah, It's like most bedliner coatings where you need to scuff the paint up a fair bit for adhesion.

Why does no one use a high truck shell?

Love mine.. It's been modified quite a bit over the past six years. I don't know which brand it was. Probably ARE or Century I think. I think the weak point is the rear doors. They experience the most movement and flex. I personally, came to really dislike the side windows as you can see. I...

WTB: Portable and Sturdy Medium Sized Table for Overland Travels

ALPS.. Yep. I'm presently using it in the garage. It's held more weight than would seem sensible.

2nd Gen Tundra Truck Bed Camper Build (ARE DCU Topper)

Yeah, I can't see going back to a tailgate and sold mine off several years ago. I love some of the fancy pop top campers out there now, but it's a tough sell when you can do a lot with these. I'd probably consider a Tradesman for my next build. The quality and available options are a good step...

2nd Gen Tundra Truck Bed Camper Build (ARE DCU Topper)

Nice start. It's always interesting to see other DCU builds. I think they are a great option.

I had the smaller Airlift bags before the new leafs. I was typically running them pretty high, say 50psi or more. I took them off because the leafs added enough lift and really improved the ride. I think they just broke in enough that I'm feeling that body roll again. I could always put them...

Thanks. Thinking I might be due for a shock upgrade. I’ve been running the Old man emu kit from toytec for probably five years now. I did upgrade to the archive garage leaf springs.

Yeah, oem sway bar with extended links. I’m running Old man emu front and rear. Nothing fancy. Archive garage leafs. Maybe it’s time to upgrade shocks.

Anyone have suggestions on improving body roll, sway. I know I could probably go with a Hellwig sway bar, but I’m looking at other options too like Sumo Springs or other improved bumpstops. The new leaf springs have settled enough that I’m feeling the need here.

Always something.. My headlights started flickering last night, followed by smoke and the aroma of burning electrical components. Narrowed it down to this guy... Part of my headlight retrofit. The Morimoto Motocontrol box. The stench is awful... No idea what caused this yet. This is the...

I haven't done any towing outside of moving my utility trailer around the driveway. As @Kpack mentioned, you're going to need a serious drop hitch. I was a little concerned about the towing capacity initially, but after seeing the bumper there's no need to worry. It is built stout. Check out...
