The Sierra runs on Bilsteins, and 265/70/18 BFG KO. It has a WAAG brush guard and factory skid plates/running boards (z71 package). All skid plates, and running boards are scraped and gouged ... It has seen limited off roading. Let of its time has been spent on fire roads and snow. I just...
I have a 2004 sierra crew (165k miles) and I am in the same boat as you. 3 kids (2 boosters and 1 car seat).
I went so far as going to the dealer with the three car seats and trying to fit them in. It was a no go. If I go that route, I will wait till I only have one in a booster.

Are you suggesting his price is a tad high ...
I have less then that into my Gen2 Lifetime including having to replace the axle while at the North Rim.
After dragging the lifetime trailer through 3800 miles of abuse, I decided I want a tarp for it. On the trip we used a heavy duty ground tarp that was folded up and bunjee corded to the trailer.
Is there a place that sells a tarp, almost like a fitted sheet?
If not, where do you all have...
I am sure anything is possible but I do not know. Mine has never seen anything worse than a fire trail. My truck has driven a dry river bed.
In short, I do not have the experience to answer your question.

I bought the floor model 2 d gen from my local Costco for 1400 last summer. Great little trailer! I have used it more for hauling debris, rock and wood then camping in it.
As for larger tires, took spacers, new rims/wheels and a 2 inch lift on the shackles. I went to a 205/75/15. It they...
I like the first gen, but could not find one so in bought a second gen. He first gen appealed to me cause you could fold the sides down.
Yours looks good!
No build thread ... Not that talented!
I only need to haul wood, bikes and home stuff and I bought a brand new lifetime trailer for under $1400. It was the 'floor model' at my local Costco. It needed new lights since they were broken ...
I looked at the JJ but settled on the Lifetime. Cost was my contributing factor.
On mine, I swapped the axle and tires so that I could handle a heavier load. A cord of firewood was my target capacity.
My rear stablizer jack was too short when I went with new tires, so I have two scissor...
What do you want out of your tent trailer? Are referring to a pop up tent trailer (Coleman etc) or a tent trailer (Jumping Jack/Lifetime). I have a lifetime and like it so far.
I don't have a Lowes trailer, but I have a lifetime trailer that originally came with 12 inch tires. Inchangwd the tires to a 15inch, made sure bearings were packed and that was it. Probably only has 7-800 miles behind it now, and have not had any issues with it.
We have had it up to 70mph...
I ended up putting spacers on it and am running 205's. The trailer is going under the knife soon (read when I order parts) and I am installing a #3500 axle under it. When I do that, I will get the axle a bit wider so I do not need to run spacers.
Thanks!

Thanks for the guidance. I will go look at the 12V forums, as well as the build thread directly linked here.
The truck does has a 7-pin, required when I tow the 10k trailer behind it!

I am a lurker and have enjoyed reading all you gals/guys do to make these awesome trailers. I am not so talented.
I bought a Lifetime Tent Trailer, current model, and have used it extensively for utility purposes to date. The time is coming where we are heading to Joshua Tree National in...
I have a second gen lifetime tent trailer. I acquired the floor model for $1400, assmbled. I changed tires out for a se of 15's and lifted the trail so they would not rub. i wanted a first gen or jumping jacl, but coat was a factor.
For me, offroad will be fire trails at the most. It will...
I just booing one of the new models from Costco. It was the floor model so I got it for $1400. Happy so far ...
I found this site while researching the LTT/JJ trailers and even with the new model reviews, the price seemed okay.
I do not like the tiny 12 inch rims. I see that you can put a...
