Paging FWC... If this was available in the Hawk my wife would be sold on it. She has an issue with the lack of a shower in most offroad campers, including our Kamparoo. Long trips for us involve a hotel every 3rd day for showers.
I've never dealt with a 3-way unit but I love my Engel 45. The Engel has more in common with the fridge in your kitchen (and will probably last as long) than the one in your pop-up. The Engel will maintain 0 degrees in 100 degree Moab weather easily without killing your battery. On my 10 day...
I have a MSR Wind Pro and Pocket Rocket. I would buy them both again in a heartbeat. I would like to try the MSR Reactor though. All I really use a stove for when backpacking is to boil water and the Reactor would be faster.
You'll like it. I broke mine in on a 10 day trip in So Utah last year. I think I even have the same griddle. I got mine for free though (REI dividend paid for it).
Just be aware that some states (like Utah) will charge you with an open container if you have alcohol in a container other than the one it came in. Utah will also charge you for bringing alcohol in from out of state.
Here are a few that I like. Thanks for the help guys. Taken with my new D90 (got it at the end of April. I'm still learning.)
EDIT: These just don't do the actual pictures justice, they are much sharper in RAW format. :(
With all of the festivities going on this weekend does anyone have any tips or trick to share to get some good firework pictures? If you wanted to take a long exposure with several fireworks in the frame how do you meter for it? I want to use a small aperture so I can get the city lights in the...
Maybe I misinterpreted what was being said by some (some wanting full drop in units with floors). However, I think we all agree that a FlipPac would be an awesome addition to a JK (I just wish they would make one for my LJ).
I think many people are forgetting that this thread was about a Flip Pac for JKs, not about one-off custom campers. In order for something like this to sell to the masses it would need to be as close to a direct fit replacement top as possible, nothing more. Leave all the customizing to the...
I guess since the name I voted for won I'm gonna have to buy one now... (The wife loves the Kamparoo, now I've just got to talk her into upgrading ;) )
